Reposting since I just snuck something in before the closing bell!

T&T really is on my last nerve. She started to POUT when Steven didn't just love the hell out of her. Complete with the stuck out lip! And since when does Seacrest give a crap about anyone's feelings? He put HER out of her misery as soon as the lip started to shake, but he keeps f'ing with everyone else. How about his, "You're all safe! Except YOU Karen!". Little bitch (Ryan).

Apparently Casey has ulcerative colitis. That's a rough one when you don't have it under control. I don't think he (or anyone else besides Scotty, T&T, and Tourettes) has a shot anyway, but I really enjoy his crazy, jazzy style. I've seen him being compared to Taylor Hicks, but this kid has way more talent. He's not mainstream, for sure .. but he's got a cool vibe that fake soul guy never had.

I don't know, I do think these kids are way more talented than some previous seasons, but they'd better stop screwing with the arrangements (sabotage?) of some of the weaker contestants who are likely to go along with anything they're told. Stefano and Thia got sandbagged.

And I miss Simon - BIG TIME. Someone needs to come right out and tell some of these kids (and the producers) that something sucks when it sucks.

Simon was missed on three critiques: the future Sunday Best contestant Jacob Lusk with his over-the-top gospel singing, Paul McDonald's dancing, and Selena 2.0 Karen Rodriguez. I would've paid money to hear his criticism on those three.

Someone at TWOP posted this interview with Scotty. He's Puerto Rican?! I think he comes across pretty well in the clip. He seems like a sweet kid and appears pretty intelligent and well-spoken for a 16-year-old. I like that he is in on the joke with his "theme song" now, too.

I've seen references to Scotty being "3/4ths Cowboy, 1/4th Puerto Rican" around the AI boards, so I figured it was a grandparent. He had a tweet from the mansion one morning, something like, "just woken up by a loud door slamming and the lights turning on...but I thought I locked them doors and turned the lights down low?" He is quite popular according to the set reports and DialIdol results. I get the feeling AI's country contingent is going bonkers for him, much moreso than Lauren Alaina. I mean, Carrie Underwood and now Kelly Clarkson are on the country charts, so what more can Lauren A. offer? But a guy really representing country on AI and being good at it, that was bound to be huge with fans of that genre, because they've had to make do with, like, Nosferatu Phil and High School Student Aaron Kelly.

Scotty is so marketable it's scary. Good manners, close family, grandfather is a veteran, clean cut and cute, starting pitcher on his high school baseball team, and sings very, very well? Country hasn't had a male teen idol in a while and he's tailor made for that role.

Can you imagine? Simon would have called Jacob campy, shrill, and bordering on painful. Paul would be declared someone's drunk uncle at a wedding. Damn, I miss him.
