Jamie chased her through the woods. He'd hit her around the head and thrown her into his car. Can't recall why he stopped the car or how she got out but she did and he chased her. When he caught her, he put her in the trunk. Then he called Ames who brought along Aunt Terry who decided to get rid of the problem by pushing the car in the water.

Wait, her death was an accident? But she was chased through the damn woods. Again, glad I stopped watching this. I didn't think it was accident exactly. Terri knew there was a girl in the trunk, she just didn't know it was Rosie. I think? I did watch the finale but was kinda zoned out at the same time. I think a different show might have made something interesting about all these people being effected by a young girl's death which was ultimately inconsequential but The Killing was definitely not that show. I know I shouldn't ask about the logic but why did Teri think that rolling the car into the water would make her married lover leave his wife? If he was already conflicted over leaving because of what Rosie overheard, would not murdering a girl who was seen in a casino and was in an identifiable car not make it worse? Would she not realize that them skipping town would make them suspects? I know, logic, logic. Also I didn't really watch this season so was there an explanation as to why Stan was not in jail for nearly beating the teacher to death? I don't think they need a new cast. I do think Holder, Lindern, Mitch and Stan all gave good performances in thankless roles. Agreed they need a new showrunner though. I am surprised that they did not try and set up a mystery for the next season (if it happens).

If they had condensed two seasons into one season and given the reveal at the end of last season, it would have been more effective. Stretching this out over two seasons was just ridiculous. If they do a third season, they need to wrap up the story in the one season. I don't think anyone will want to sit through two seasons again for that many red herrings.

Canceled. No surprise there.

Canceled. No surprise there. This is one of those shows that had a lot of promise, but the writing and the "twists" just made it so bad.

That's too bad, I liked Kinnerman and wanted to see what they could do with a whole different crime.

I think Kinnerman will have a good Hollywood career. He is definitely getting his shot with Robocop. But I also hope that Mirielle Enos gets another chance at a tv show. I thought she was great on Big Love and did the best she could with a thankless role on The Killing. I also hope she gets a part that lets her have a flattering wardrobe for once. Between the prarie dresses on Big Love and the lumpy ski sweaters on The Killing you would never know she is an attractive woman. In other news Veena Sud is on the shortlist as screenwriter for Fifty Shades of Grey. Now I haven't read it but isn't it supposed to be terrible but also hugely popular? Wouldn't you want a good screenwriter to make it better? Maybe not the creator of one of the biggest flameouts in recent television history?

Wow, that's interesting. I wonder how much of the cast could--or would--return.
