I figured out that Skinner was the killer because he made Linden happy. Linden must not be happy! EVER!! If she finds happiness it must be snatched away from her in the cruelest manner. No wonder she wears warm and fuzzy sweaters all the time. Girl needs a hug.

The worst part of the finale for me was Holder's "Oh God" (paraphrasing) being the last words of the show. It's hard to believe, but I think Linden's in for even worse legal issues next season (if there is one, and I hope there is).
Two moments from the penultimate episode I loved: Sarsgaard's character getting to see his son from the window, and Holder taunting Linden that he wasn't going to kiss her again.

The moments I love are sad ones like when Callie's mom counted to 5 at the bridge and Adrian was huddled by his mother's grave. It's no wonder I watch this show. I'm a sucker for poignant sadness.

AMC's just announced they're not bringing it back for a 4th season. Just when it started to not suck... ah, well.

AMC's just announced they're not bringing it back for a 4th season. Just when it started to not suck... ah, well. Oh, whatever. And yes, just went they started to make this actually interesting and GOOD. Plus, they gave us such a cliffhanger. Eh, I'm sure we call all think that Linden shot him and they made it look like he was reaching for his gun and it was self-defense. And then they can search the lake house and find the other bodies. *sigh*

It's too bad there can't be a new show with just Holder. I'm not sad to see The Killing go, but I am sad to see that character go.

I was late to the party on this series, but I caught the first two seasons on Netflix and season three on On Demand. Man, season three was really just a much more interesting storyline, so of course it gets cancelled. I loved the cliffhanger ending with Holder shouting "no, no, no" as it cut to black. I heard there's some chatter of trying to bring it back, which I would love, but I wonder if the two leads even want that, given they're both trying to do movies (Mirielle Enos with World War Z and Joel Kinnaman with the upcoming Robocop reboot).
Anyway, AMC continues to bring some of the strongest series on the air right now.

I can't believe it! From TV Guide Online:
Say wha? I've never seen a show get canceled and picked up as much as this one.
At least we'll get some closure this time around?

At least it's only six episodes so they can't drag it out too much. Last season was good, but I kind of wish they'd just let the show die, despite the cliff-hanger ending.

That's BONKERS. I'm glad it's back but who the eff is doing the decision-making? I'm envisioning a room full of execs getting blasted and nixing it, then in the light of day with hangovers being all "Oh shit, we canceled it again! Bob, you were supposed to remind us not to cancel it this time!"
