I just got back from Hanna and it is very well-done and she absolutely OWNS in it. MrsCatHead - it seemed on the hard side of PG-13, violence-wise. My companion covered her eyes at a couple points. There's also a F-bomb. No nudity (though you get to see Eric Bana's large package flopping around in wet undies! yum!) some sex talk. Yeah, it's about a young girl, but she is trained as a hardcore assassin. The film opens with her shooting a deer with an arrow and then putting a bullet in it when it limps away because she missed its heart. - Also, it's pretty intense. There were several moments where my friend and I were just sick with anticipation at something horrible about to happen. I don't know about LittlestCatHead's maturity level or what you let her watch, but it is violent and intense. It may also lead to some interesting conversations about parenting choices and why you never raised her as a brutal assassin. I was telling my friend that if only Saorise were older, she would be PERFECT for the next Bond film based on her ass-kicking-ness in this. Maybe she could be his assistant or a young CIA agent forced to worked with MI-6? Obviously, I would be uncomfortable with them sexing.

Thanks, hg. I appreciate that. I think Mr and I will just have to go see this separately or wait til we have a sitter next week (hopefully, it will still be out).

I've never seen her in anything before Hanna and I loved her, she was fantastic and so very believable to me as her character. I'll check out her other stuff because of this and keep her on the radar.

She does accents so well. I first saw her in Atonement, which I thought she was fantastic in. Then in I Could Never Be Your Woman . She played Michelle Pfeiffer's daughter and she was just fantastic.
Cannot wait to see Hannah.

She needs to be the main girl in the live action version of The Dark Crystal, that's all I saw during Hanna. She definitely has something about her.

I like the strapless gown on the woman behind her much more.

Yes, I like the strapless dress in the background a lot more than Ronan's red dress. Plus, she's doing the pigeon toe thing.

I don't think she's old enough to pull that off. Saoirse has been cast as the lead for The Host based on the book by Stephenie "Vampires SPARKLE!" Meyer. Which normally would suck except it's being directed by Andrew Niccol, who brought us Gattaca and wrote The Truman Show.
