I seriously can't believe how much I loved this show. The judges were all awesome and had excellent chemistry. Christina and Adam came across as nice which was very surprising. Carson Daly wasn't a tool. The contestants sang new songs instead of the old tired retreads that AI has been having the contestants sing for years. And best of all, there were no loser auditions shown and no making fun of people with disabilities. Finally, a singing show that isn't mean.

Hang it up, Idol. This show is fantastic. I couldn't wait until it came on and I was not disappointed. The judges were awesome and personable and knew what the hell they were talking about and every damn contestant could sing their ass off, even the ones they didn't pick could sing. There were a few ringers though, Javier Colon and Frenchie (she said she auditioned for Idol but actually made it into the top twelve), namely, which makes me wonder how staged this show is too. I will be watching it faithfully though, I really, really loved it.

I caught only the last half hour of the premiere repeat, and I loved it too. I have never watched a single episode of AI, and I usually ignore any show like this. And I am hooked. I can't wait to see what else it brings.

I'm watching it right now. I really like it! The judges are great and everyone is talented. Great opening song by the judges as well. I wonder if they'll sing before each show starts?

I am signed up for the entire season of this show. I just loved it. I can't remember the last time I sat down and watched 2 hours of primetime television. Great job to all those involved.

I loved it too! Adam Levine was WAY nicer than I thought he might be, and I think I'm in love with Blake Shelton (and I hate country music). We'll see how the rest of it plays out, but damn... JLo really signed onto a sinking ship compared to this.

Finally a reality show that isn't mean! It's like we've been conditioned to point and laugh at people on our TV's the last 10 years. It's good to know that it's possible to make an entertaining and successful reality show that doesn't humiliate people. More please.

I really enjoyed it, but I thought Frenchie was the weak link. Didn't think she was that great.

I don't think that was the best song choice for her, but I've heard her do a bunch of other stuff, and that plus her personality in general has totally sold me.
