Beverly is amazing, my favorite so far. She puts so much energy, enthusiasm and heart into her performances. Christina's team was the best tonight, by far, so much energy. I liked all of tonight's pics. Watching Sia grooving is so awesome.

I wasn't a fan of Beverly earlier. But she won me over last night.

I am the exact opposite regarding Beverly. For me, it's one thing to be over the top, but her screeching gave me a headache. She's trying to be Janis, but there was a melodic tone to Janis's voice. I don't hear that with Beverly. I guess Christina is keeping her around because she's good TV.
I will miss the hotness that is Tje. That was a bad pairing with Nakia, who was going to blow his doors off regardless.
Maybe there will be a wild card and Tje and Nicki will get a second chance.

I actually enjoyed Justin (didn't even remember who he was), and thought Bev over sang like crazy. That and I get so tired of people trying to be all hard ass rocker and flashing their stupid fingers at everything. Bev was good the first time around, but someone needed to tell her to tone it down and relax. She wants to be Melissa Etheridge, but a real pro knows how to settle down and just sing.
Speaking of.. it still makes me cringe when Christina gives advise about being understated. Yeah, the mega screamer in her leopard dress and white hair.

I liked Bev's performance better, but thought Justin sang better overall. Tough call.
Angela seemed like she knew she was doomed the minute they paired her with Javier and she just had fun and smiled and looked and sounded pretty. She does seem like a sweet girl.
Does this mean Elenowen are going back to her parents' basement?

People @ TwOP are saying Beverly is a one trick pony, but I've been looking at her performances online and she is incredibly amazing when she dials it down too. I can't wait for next week, I hope Rebecca makes it through, her voice is haunting. |
