I'm a bit leery of things that have the stamp of approval from Judd Apatow, but I will probably see this regardless because ... it looks hilarious.

That line made me laugh out loud during the trailer.

I can't wait to see this. I'll probably go with two of my girlfriends next week. I love Kristen Wiig. And Maya Rudolph, for that matter. And Melissa McCarthy (I'm so used to seeing her all dolled up that I didn't even recognize her in the trailer!).

I saw an advance screening of this last week and it is funny as hell! Im actually gonna go watch it again with my sister this weekend. Melissa McCarthy absolutely steals the show here. She was fucking hilarious! Also, everyone in the theater was dying laughing during the food poisoning scene. So gross but awesome. Lol

Just saw it. I would've enjoyed it better if the two battleaxes in front of me weren't so loud. Go home and watch a DVD, ladies.
As for the film, it had a lot of hysterical moments and it made me like Kristen Wiig more. Melissa McCarthy was good too, but then again, I've liked her since Gilmore Girls.
Also, it was great to see Franklin Ajaye playing Maya Rudolph's father. I haven't seen him since he played "the Fly" in Car Wash. Plus, it was sad to know that this was Jill Clayburgh's last film.

I liked it a lot, it helped me laugh for the first time in days. Melissa McCarthy was to me the best part, she is awesome.

I had to leave about a quarter into the movie yesterday, but what I saw was very funny. Melissa McCarthy's first scene had me in tears, I might have to buy another ticket and go back and watch the whole flick.

My friends and I just came back from seeing this and it was the funniest movie I've seen in years. We all had tears of laughter and were just howling during the food poisoning scene and several others. I'm glad to see that it made a lot of money this weekend, which will hopefully greenlight more female-driven comedies. The good kind, not the Kate Hudson/Katherine Heigl kind.

TTMR & I saw this on Friday night, and we laughed like crazy. I really like all the actresses who were involved, and Jon Hamm played the dick Friend With Benefits perfectly.

I said to my friend that even bad sex with Jon Hamm would probably be nice, because, hello, eye candy! But he was so perfect as that type of douche. I kinda love that he's the new unofficial SNL member. (Also, as soon as he makes a movie with his longtime friend Paul Rudd, I can die happy). This was HYSTERICAL. The woman behind me brought her, like, 7 year old daughter, which I thought was hugely inappropriate. The kid said after the What's Your Number? trailer that she wanted to see it and her mom went "no, honey, it's a grown-up movie" and my friend and I both whispered to each other "and this isn't?" Luckily the kid was well-behaved the whole time. I just think mommy is gonna have to do a LOT of explaining when she gets home. Always try to see comedies and horror in theatres. They just play better with an audience. I forgotten how much I loved Wiig. None of her non-celeb recurring characters on SNL interest me anymore, so I was starting to resent her. For anyone who didn't see Whip It, she was great in that - and surprisingly dramatic. I worship Rose Byrne from Damages but haven't seen her in much else. She nailed this! So funny and well-timed. I also kinda loved that Annie's musical choices were Fiona Apple and Hole. And I thought that they did a good job making the love interest seem funny and interesting in a relatively short time period. I must watch more with Chris O'Dowd. Not even remotely filmed in the Midwest. Recognized several Downtown LA Bars/Streets as locations. My only quibble is that they made Melissa McCarthy soooo unattractive. She was so pretty on Gilmore Girls! Fun fact: her paramour in the film is her real-life husband. Crazy OMGWTF fact that I didn't know until looking up her IMDB profile right now - she's Jenny McCarthy's cousin!! Yeah, I know they have the same last name, but McCarthy is a common enough surname I wouldn't have guessed
