Apparently, Feig and Apatow edited out some of the raunchier stuff with Jill after-the-fact because they felt it was sorta disrespectful to a dead woman. I loved her as the matriarch in "Dirty Sexy Money." On Chelsea, Maya, is "tweny-five months pregnant" and is not pleased with the "OMG, it's the Great Pink Hope of Comedy! Thank Apatow for making ladies funny for the first time ever!" response by some.

"The Nines" is going in my queue immediately. My friend and I LOVED McCarthy in this role. He keeps asking to repeat the "flap" line McCarthy says in the credits scene.

My friend and I keep saying "it's coming out of me like lava!" to each other now.

Melissa McCarthy made the movie for me, too, as did Rebel Wilson (the British sister) and her tequila worm tattoo.
The movie could have been shortened by something like 20 minutes though. At times it just seemed like it would never end.

Just saw this and the whole audience (I would say equal parts men & women) howled the whole time. For me it was equal parts painful & funny. I'd see it again, or maybe buy the dvd.

I went with my friends yesterday and we howled it was so funny. They get very emotional and cried a bit at some of scenes. So sweet.
A couple of older ladies sitting behind us were pretty grossed out by the wedding dress scene and actually got up and left the movie at that point. Ladies you should have stuck around, you missed a good flick!

I loved this movie and due to my contrarian nature, I was even prepared to be a voice of dissent. I thought everything about it was fantastic--the shame spiral, how every character was fairly multifaceted, and the story with the cop. It will definitely be a purchase.

I saw it last night. Hilarious. I laughed until it literally hurt.

It had a less than 20% drop at the Box Office this weekend and grossed $21 mil, beating Thor for second-place. It's also been having good business at weekday shows. Yay!
This could seriously cut into Hangover 2's opening weekend.
