Thought he had a thread, but I guess not.
I think he's kinda dull, but his next project sounds interesting - Soderbergh is going to be directing him in a film based on his real-life experiences as a male stripper! With Alex Pettyfer as the young stripper that he advises/mentors/whatever. It's cool that he's not hiding from this part of his past and, hey, shirtless Channing is never a bad thing.

I love him. He may not be the best actor in the world, but he seems earnest about the projects he works on. And he obviously doesn't take himself too seriously. He had no shame in admitting he used to strip for a living & that he burned his penis on a movie set (the Vow, I think).

It was The Eagle. It made for a very funny Details article - he was all "check out these pictures of my horribly burned dick" to the writer, who was all OW!OW!OW.

Thought he had a thread, but I guess not. ...and, hey, shirtless Channing is never a bad thing. I think it's often a bad thing, or at least a not very good thing. It seems like he's not too interested in how his body looks if he's not shooting a film. I don't think he's ugly, but I think he may have been one of the unsexiest strippers there has ever been.(Obv. NSFW)

He ruined G.I. Joe for me. It could have worked as a cheesy but fun action movie. Everyone else was fine and hamming it up appropriately but this idiot just ruined every scene with his "acting".

He's likable in interviews, but boy oh boy, he was the most wooden thing in G.I. Joe. I hope his acting is improving, because seriously, if he and Kate Bosworth ever play leads opposite each other, it could put me to sleep for a year.
I haven't seen him in anything since G.I. Joe, it was like his presence surgically removed the joy and life out of every scene.

And I'm just the opposite. I thought he was great as Duke. It was the other actors that were killing the GI Joe love for me, like Rachel Nichols & Shawn Wayans.

Watched Dear John last night. Too many tragic deaths like most of Sparks' works but I thought that he was pretty good in this. Really nice love scene in this movie too. And he should always be at least half naked or dancing to hip hop a la the "My Pony" stripping scene in Magic Mike.

I'm totally crushing on him. He doesn't seem to take himself too seriously. And 21 Jump Street was really funny.

And the thing he did with his tongue in 21 Jump Street when they were high? Umm...
