People's "Sexiest Man Alive" has been a joke for a few years, but this is the first time I've ever had to look up who the guy is. Answer: "Oh, he was that guy in Jump Street who wasn't Jonah Hill". Followed by a Michael Bluth "Him?" Maybe this just means I'm an old lady, but is the world in the midst of a massive sexy shortage or something?

His eyes are too squinty, although the boy can dance. I put 'Pony' on my playlist after seeing Magic Mike.

Channing has done quite well for himself in the all areas (directing, producing and starring) of Hollywood. He's a self-deprecating cutie, who can dance his butt off. I am thrilled he got this & the GQ Man of the Year. Well deserved honors. And yes, thank God, it wasn't Bieber.

Channing has done quite well for himself in the all areas (directing, producing and starring) of Hollywood. He's a self-deprecating cutie, who can dance his butt off. I am thrilled he got this & the GQ Man of the Year. Well deserved honors. And yes, thank God, it wasn't Bieber. This, and the part about washing skunked dogs was kind of a nice touch. |

He's harmless. There could be worse guys. He's seems like a genuinely good guy who knows he isn't the most talented of actors. And anything is better than the Beebs.

He isn't my personal choice for "Sexiest Man Alive," but I think he's a good choice to represent the "sexiest" of the year. I think he's mostly responsible for the runaway success of Magic Mike, and I have heard SO many women I work with going on about how hot he is for months now. There are also the countless posts about him on Facebook and Pinterest. And yeah, he really does seem like a nice guy.

He's definitely not the "sexiest man alive" but I don't think there is anyone in Hollywood currently who really embodies what the title used to stand for (the heartthrob/"it"man/leading man of the moment who is very popular with female moviegoers) so it might as well go to someone who has had recent success, is attractive enough and is generally well-liked.

I am extremely happy with Channing be the Sexiest Man Alive this year. I have not been satisfied with any of the past winners, including Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds and all previous winners.
I find Channing extremely sexy and he embodies what the sexiest man alive is for People Magazine. The person chosen is always someone who is popular, high profile and has hit movies. There really isn't anyone who fits the bill like he does this year. He is a box office star even though a lot of people don't really realize it, for some reason.
