I did think he was great in 21 Jump St. He & Jonah had a nice chemistry. I don't think he's going to be winning any acting awards in the near future but he seems like a genuinely nice guy who doesn't take himself too seriously.

I never thought Jonah Hill would do anything award worthy and he is now an Academy Award nominee. So, you never know. I enjoy him. And I've only heard nice things about him.

I think he's probably a nice person but I still detested "The Vow." I'm just glad I didn't pay $$$ to see that junk.

The Vow was lame. It was also not anywhere near the true story that it was supposedly based on.
Back to Tatum: I think that I'm developing a crush. Must find 21 Jump Street now. Also, I saw pictures of his wife yesterday. She is really pretty.

I think he is hot, although not that good looking. It's that body that is so sexy and those hip hop dance moves in Magic Mike.
When I look at how Channing is being managed by his team and the industry, I can't help but think that he is following a template that the industry wanted several young, handsome, fresh, new leading male actors to follow - male actors who have fallen by the wayside because they wanted to do more "serious" roles and did not want to play flimsy "big budget", marketable leading man roles. I am thinking of actors like Josh Hartnett and others like him who broke out in big leading man, marketable films and then eventually refused to play the game in favour of lower budget serious films that they hoped would show that they could act. Of course, many actors like this, such as Josh Hartnett, suffered the consequences and they are no longer on the map or on the tongues of studio heads.
As someone mentioned her, what I like about Channing is that he does not seem to take himself seriously. And, for now, he seems to be playing the game and following that mould or template that young, handsome, leading man-type actors are urged to play by their team and by the studio heads. While, I am sure, it compromises his integrity at times, it has resulted in him being a box office star. I find it interesting that there has not been much write up on Channing in the media about the multiple films he has had in the past few years that have topped over 100 million dollars. Right now, there really isn't any new actor I can think of who has had as many bonafide box office hits as he has had. He has even done better in recent times than box office heroes like Tom Cruise and Will Smith.

I don't know, I think one of the reasons the studios love Channing right now is because he's starring in low budget movies, like 21 Jump Street and Magic Mike, and they're doing big business. Yes, he's also done the GI Joe type thing, but I think it's Magic Mike, etc. that has everyone really into him.

He's also doing a lot of producing, too. He's taking a really smart approach to his career. He know what he is and what he has to offer, he's playing to his strengths, and broadening his offerings.

I think he's probably a nice person but I still detested "The Vow." I'm just glad I didn't pay $$$ to see that junk. I paid a dollar to see it on DVD and I regret it. Channing Tatum wasn't very good, but even Rachel McAdams was working my last nerve. So I'm not even sure who to blame for that movie -- the director, the writer, the actors? It was bad.
