I feel like Suri has been so disconnected from that world, I couldn't imagine her having any interest in it. Especially since I'm sure she's been exposed to how awful it is.
But Tom's other children are over 18 and you don't hear Nicole saying anything about $cientology or more details about their marriage, etc. They probably had a pretty tight NDA. Hopefully, Daddy Holmes was able to secure a pretty sweet way of getting around that nonsense and I'd love to hear Katie's side, but I doubt we ever will.

Nicole has said she doesn't say anything bad about Scientology because those are the beliefs of her children and she respects their beliefs. I think it's about keeping open the possibility that her children will ever come back to her, and I find that sad.

I think it's pretty much a lost cause, Bella and Connor coming back, but Nicole is their mom and she loves them, so she's not willing to give up hope. And she's not wrong that if she calls out Scientology her kids will take it badly. All she can do is wait and see, and keep her mouth shut.

She's still working, she has something coming out this year. I've only seen her in a very few things (small roles) since her Tom Cruise drama started ad honestly her presence ruins the movie for me. I guess it's the overexposure & speculation and known craziness of her real life, that she can't disappear into a role for me. I can't see her as anything other than "Katie Holmes" and it takes me out of the story. I don't have this problem with other actors even those I've seen in dozens of roles and interviews. I mean... not to sound like a hater, but she was never exactly Meryl Streep to begin with.

I watched Katie in a movie with Josh Lucas called The Secret, based on the book. I watched it because it was filmed in and around my hometown. Pretty awful movie but I guess she got paid?

Katie was SO badly miscast in Batman Begins! Digging up the ancient, but the worst part of her being in that movie was how she and Tom co-opted the premiere and made it all about them. Not Christian Bale, the lead, but the fourth person down on the call sheet and her "amazing" new romance.

I wonder how she feels seeing Michelle Williams get juicy roles in quality films and receive Oscar nominations.

I wonder how she feels seeing Michelle Williams get juicy roles in quality films and receive Oscar nominations. Michelle Williams is a much better actor than Katie, so I’m hoping she feels no jealousy whatsoever. As someone who used to addictively read the Television Without Pity recaps of Dawson’s Creek, the consensus usually was that Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams were the better actors on that show.

the consensus usually was that Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams were the better actors on that show. Still are. LOL I doubt that Katie is jealous. I get this feeling that she feels perfectly fine in the place that she is. She can make random movies, people are nice to her, and she is happy with her daughter and life. She can live comfortably and was able to get out of a cult relationship. I'm sure she'd do everything possible to keep Tom out of their lives, too.
