I really enjoyed the first Harry Potter flicks too. Then the third one came out and I wanted to like it more than I did. After that, it became a chore to watch those movies. But I am really looking forward to seeing them remade some day. I would love to see the books become a BBC mini-series or something fun like that.

I'd like to see them remade as well, but I always image it being animated the next time. That way, all the wizardry stuff can be done really well, and nothing needs to be cut. I'd watch 20 hours of a well done Harry Potter animation. I liked all the movies after PoA, but that one just sticks out like a sore thumb. All the muggle clothing, it was also the shortest if I'm not mistaken, and what it more than made up for in atmosphere, was sacrificed for quirks and crucial plot cuts. And the line delivery of, " HE WAS THEIR FRIEND!", and that freeze frame end shot? Horrific! Cuaron may not have written it, but he got the final say on a lot of bad shit.

Underrated film: The Mexican. I even sort of liked Brad Pitt in it. I keep forgetting I like it.

I love Ang Lee's Hulk. I don't even know anyone who's seen it but I've read people on many forums referring to this as a terrible movie so I guess it is an unpopular movie opinion . And it's not just nekkid Eric Bana I like about it. I think.

I will always believe that the Harry Potter movies would have been even better if they were each done as a series on tv. Like a one or two hour episode every Sunday night I think more of each story would have been included. I love the original stories so much that I was disappointed in what was edited for the cinematic version.

My people! I've long thought Harry Potter would translate nicely to TV, one season a year. For the most part, I like the movies. There are a few things that were cut or added that I don't agree with. A series would allow for so much more elaboration. Two hours vs. 22 hours?! That would be awesome.

The more I think about The Help, the more I kinda can't stand it. Crash Redux. Except the performances.

I hate Marilyn Monroe. Not beautiful. Not even pretty. Nothing special as an actress, and I don't even see the "vibrant sexuality" part of her persona.

I like Monroe, but the hype over her often skeeves me out.
