Well, she is horrific in the trailer. I see no reason to remake these movies. Annie has been done infinitum and so has the Peter Pan story. Dumb idea of a movie aside, I like Rooney Mara and thought she was pretty good in TGWTDT.

She's lost her style mojo. Weird and modern pieces look better on her with her hair, makeup, and non-jewelry preferences. This looks a little unfinished.

This is a bit irrational, but I find her sadface red carpet demeanor 100000000000000% more irritating than any of Kristen Stewart's RC snarling and pouting (and that's no defense of KStew).

I really want to like Rooney Mara. I really do. I think she's a good actress. I know that she tends to put her foot in her mouth (like when she recently said she didn't grow up rich and offered her family's lack of a butler as proof) but I think she's good people.

But I'm jolted every time I see a picture of her on the red carpet. She always looks like this pale, sad, thin, rigid, frowning specter of death. I don't know what's changed because circa Girl with the Dragon Tattoo her red carpet look was kind of mysterious and chic. Now she looks like she's come to escort me to the dark side.

In other words, she has become Orin from Parks and Rec.

I just can't deal with Rooney and her red carpet demeanor any more. Pale, no smiling, hands clasped. I have no idea why she's decided to make this her thing but it really causes irrational flames-running-down-the-side-of-my-face feelings in me.

Dead woman walking. She is so boring and I agree, irritating. There's a way to do goth for red carpets if that's her shtick but this is beyond tiresome.
