Now I want Sir Paul, Beck, and Taylor to record some songs together.

Resurrecting this thread to talk about my fourth favorite Beatle! Also need a “not dead yet” (or not dead “again”) tag!
All jokes aside, I have been really enjoying the listen to McCartney III, his latest solo album. I read an article in salon.com a few years ago about how his music got crappier because of his heavy cannabis use. I was about to call bullshit on it, but I have been noticing that the albums he’s been releasing since he’s cut down on his marijuana use or quit smoking pot everyday have been gotten remarkably better (Chaos and Creation in the Backyard, Memory Almost Full, NEW, Egypt Station), so maybe the author had a point!
“Wonderful Christmas Time”, however, remains a blight on my holidays after so many years of working retail!

Wonderful Christmas Time is something I will not forgive him for. Ever. It is The Song From Hell.

Seriously, I will take 10 straight hours of “The Frog Chorus” before I hear another rendition of “Wonderful Christmas Time”.

I actually like Wonderful Christmas Time. It's so cheesy and bad that comes back around to good for me.

I wish could like it, because I like the Beatles, but hate working retail during the holiday season and have to hear that for the past 20 years. I just cannot stand those grating, cheesy synths!

I actually like Wonderful Christmas Time. It's so cheesy and bad that comes back around to good for me. I actually don’t mind it, either. It’s just so dorky, it almost comes around to charming for me. It’s no where near the top five Christmas songs that make me want to tear my ears off.

I’ve had The Pipes of Peace in my head all week and I’m sure I haven’t actually heard it yet this year other than in my head. The Frog Chorus was one my early Christmas single purchases that aswell as Band Aid and Wham Last Christmas Haven’t bought a Christmas single since!! Edit This needs to here Paul does a trip down memory lane( aka Carpool Karaoke) it’s the just the most joyful thing even with James Corden involved.

I like all the Christmas cheesy goodness. But I’ve never worked retail, so I don’t have that association.
I don’t know The Frog Chorus though.
I loved that Carpool Karaoke. Best ever!
