New tour coming to the U.S. this fall, but more importantly, his new album Chaos and Creation in the Backyard (produced by Nigel Godrich of Radiohead and Beck fame) has been getting excellent buzz. The British single A Fine Line has been A-Listed by Radio 2 and Virgin.

I've been in love with Sir Paul since I was about 3 years old. I know every word to every song the Beatles ever recorded. I haven't been quite so keen on Paul's music since Flowers in the Dirt, but I still adore him and I will definitely get the new CD. If I had known he would remarry a woman almost my age, I would have moved to the UK ages ago!

(You can hear the new single at the above link.) My first reaction upon hearing the new song was, "Hmm, interesting." But it is a total earworm, and I found myself humming it randomly the day afterward. And since then have listened to it repeatedly and now love it.

I love him as well. I especially love the Beatles, but who doesn't?

Bumping this thread because his new album comes out next week and has been getting great reviews. He has a profile in the new Time magazine:

I love Paul. I hate that "Freedom" song. Otherwise, he seems cool.

I've downloaded several of the songs that have been leaked, including "Riding to Vanity Fair," which the reviewer is right: is very bitter. It's also the most Radiohead-esque production, with the xylophone that Radiohead loves so much. The album in general is fairly dark. (Sample lyrics: "You're not aware/of what you put me through/But now the feeling's gone/But I don't mind/You're not fooling anyone")
