If I'm not mistaken, Finnick won the games when he was 14, ten years before Katniss goes in, so he's 24 in Catching Fire. And I really want Jesse Williams to play him now. To stick it to the racists, and because he's absolutely gorgeous.  Yes. Please! He's yummy. |

I will be pissed if they cast RPattz as Finnick. Get a freakin' imagination, Hollywood. I'm hoping they won't do it and/or he won't want to be part of another big teen-friendly franchise so soon and turns it down.
I've never seen Jesse Williams act, but he certainly looks pretty enough to be Finnick.

I'm a sadist and watch the trainwreck that is Grey's Anatomy and Jesse Williams cannot act to save his life. He has incredible eyes though and takes his shirt off regularly so he knows what keeps him employed.
I read that the sequel has been officially titled as The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, so people don't get confused.

Pattison would be a horrible Finnick, he looks nothing like what Finnick is supposed to look like. Finnick is supposed to be tall, tanned, buff, and blonde. Rob is none of those things. I always pictured Finnick as Jason Momoa with lighter hair. Jason is probably a bit long in the tooth at this point to play Finnick though.

So, I finally saw it.
Jennifer Lawrence owned that movie, Amanda Stenberg was totally adorable and Elizabeth Banks was note-perfect. Woody Harrelson was- ok. Not bad, but not fantastic. Same with Hutcherson and Hemsworth. Lenny Kravitz, however, was just right as Cinna.
Heard afterwards in the ladies room:
"Do I have any mascara left?"
"I wanted to stop crying but I just couldn't so I tried to cry as quietly as I could."

The Pattinson rumor was just that. He even laughed it off when asked about it a few weeks ago.
According to Lainey, Garrett Hedlund just auditioned for Finnick. I know some people like him, but he's just too 'derpy' for me.

That guy just looks like a poor man's Ryan Kwanten. Neither of these guys really fit the image I had in my head for Finnick. Ah well.
