I like it a lot! It's unusual and sexy without being all "Boobies! Boobies! Boobies!"

I would have loved this if it didn't have the cutout. Also not loving that shade of lipstick.
Her acceptance speech last night:

I liked her speech a lot.
In the comments section on HuffPo, most folks seemed to think Jessica now has to decline all great roles in the future in order to "do her part" in helping diversity. I see where those commenters are going, but if Hollywood is truly going to change, white male executives and decision makers are going to have to hire more than a token minority executive. There are so many opportunities to tell every day stories using black/hispanic/asian actors/actresses.
If you remember emails from the Sony leaks, executives are afraid that they'll lose revenue overseas by casting a non-white actor. Maybe they will in the short-term, but I believe that eventually it won't be an issue.
Fear will get you no where....
As for Jessica's outfit. I'm not feeling it.

One of the most bankable actors for domestic and international box office? Denzel Washington.

One of the most bankable actors for domestic and international box office? Denzel Washington. And he was the actor they specifically referenced in their emails...... I think it's idiotic too, but as long as those are the people in power, then those are the types of decisions that will continued to be made. However, running away from the "problem" doesn't solve anything. If diverse casts become common place, I really feel it will cease to be an issue. But speeches only do so much. It needs to be followed up with action.

Jessica is the only top tier actor or actress address this issue and good for her for saying something. The rest of the white nominees have pretended like this whitewashing isn't happening. Hollywood would be a better place if there were more Jessica Chastains.

My "internet friend" Nathaniel owns The Film Experience and got to sit at the A24 Table with Jessica Chastain last night at the Critics' Choice Awards.

Hollywood would be a better place if there were more Jessica Chastains. She also spoke out against Russell Crowe's recent stupid comments about older actresses whereas Meryl Streep actually defended him. Jessica is definitely not afraid to speak her mind and good for her.
