I *am* dying to see Shoshanna accidentally smoke crack next week, from the trailer. I love Zosia Mamet on Mad Men too. Holy shit! I did not make that connection at all! I am loving this show more and more. The writing is wonderful. Yes, Adam is a bit of a pig but his moments of nice guy are so charming I can see how Hannah gets confused. I read on Bust that Donald Glover (from Community) is going to be in Season 2.

Yes, totally! It's a perfect portrayal of that sort of relationship that I think a lot of girls have been in at one time or another. I think sometimes you just have a weird connection with people, and that's what keeps Hannah tied to Adam. She clearly could date someone else if she really wanted. I had my "Adam" freshman year of college, a total asshole who would say things to me like, "You know, you're really hot, but if you lost 10 pounds you'd be perfect. It wouldn't that hard." But he was so funny and interesting most of the time that even when I went out with other, more suitable guys, I'd just think about him. He wasn't even that attractive or good in bed either, but there was just that weird primal connection. So in that sense I can totally relate to Hannah. It doesn't make it any easier to watch, though.

Twenty bucks if you guys can guess the name of my first "real" boyfriend in college - who recently e-mailed me out of the blue after we hadn't spoken in months - who would, for *years* while we were fuckbuddies after breaking up say that we couldn't get "too emotionally attached" - and then drunkenly text or call every year on our Anniversary.
I think the Adam (or 'Adam')/Hannah thing is like an uncomfortable but very universally relatable trainwreck of 'I know this person isn't logically/rationally good for me but I can't stop this habit because of a connection' - especially because now, there seems to be more of a "hang out"/hookup culture for both straight and gay couples, where it's weird because formal dates are so rare but then you may run into them at a party. Or whatnot.

I can't stop watching Hannah meeting up with her gay ex. Their comic timing is almost perfect.
Is it bad if I kinda hope he's naked?

Also, how did she NOT KNOW based on the "OHHHHHH MY GOD SCISSORS SISTERS!" in the flashback.
If that is bad, RabbitEars, I do not want to be right.

Tonight's episode was just kinda meh for me. It did manage to make Adam a little more interesting and Marnie even more annoying. And I got a kick out of Jessa's batshit crazy feather dress thing and Shoshanna's cracky self running around then ending up with no skirt or underwear on. But I REALLY hope she didn't hook up with that Ray guy, he's absolutely disgusting!
The babysitting dad is just beyond sad. I don't even want to watch him anymore.

OK, I know Adam peeing on Hannah is gross and inappropriate, but really, she seems like she'd be up for anything. I was surprised she was grossed out about it! They seem so perfect for each other in their weirdness.
Loved Jessa's support of Marni and the guy talking about his mash-ups and rug was kind of funny.
I missed Shoshanna.

I haven't seen the "pee" episode yet but the previous made me laugh so much, out loud and awkwardly. Shoshanna's crack freak-out was hilarious. I did like Adam calling out Hannah. He had some valid points and her smile in the cab was prefect. Gosh, I really love her writing.

Chris O'Dowd was quite funny, but I kind of agree with him on his anti-hipster rant (at least about the bowler hats).
I enjoyed this episode, but I'm not sure I believe Adam's transformation. And where was Shoshana?
Adam's comment, "why get out of the shower now?" was hilarious.
