The way they tied this all up was all over the place. Can't say I'm too surprised considering the way this show was all throughout. I guess the final number that finished the show was rather fitting, "Big Finish" - although their line of "Who knows what next year has in store" will never come to light. Aw, shucks.  |

I finally watched the finale and holy crap it was horrendous. What possessed them to make every character bigger assholes from Season 1? I am mystified by the plot points this season.

For those of us missing or hate missing watching Smash, there was a one night only concert performance of the show with most of the cast appearing. The benefits went to something, and they made $800,000 for the charity, so good for them. Entertainment Weekly has a recap of the night. Seriously, the songs were so fantastic, they really should look at bringing it to Broadway, either as a straight up musical of Marilyn Monroe, or as a show within a show of Smash on Marilyn Monroe. Just no Hit List, please. |
