Wow. She released a video "exposing" Harvey Levin, Andy Cohen and all the women she's worked with who didn't protect her. I don't think this comes off like she thinks it does. Wow is right.

I don't get it. What is her point?
Trying to lump Harvey Levin in with Weinstein? Because she doesn't like him? Harassing (because he called her and said- "Hey, call me back")? Ummm- if she lumps this in with sexual harassment and rape then FUCK her.
She has really really turned a corner- and not in a good way. I used to really REALLY like her. I bought her book. Now, she is bitter, and so desperate, and crossed the line from annoying to actually gross. SHE is lumping in people not supporting her (when she made a STUPID choice and was called on it) with rape and assault. Uggghhh. She needs to go away. She shouldn't have support- she should be ashamed to think her life so hard. It's all her own doing. It's really sad actually.

The media was very, very interested in what Anderson had to say about it, so I think his tweet was more than justified. I can see that it doesn't make him a good friend to tweet his condemnation without also talking to her privately about it. But I guess I just never thought of their friendship as a real, actual friendship. They work together and text each other (which Kathy routinely makes public) but I think that's it. I don't think Kathy has any genuine friendships in her life. She seems to latch on to other celebrities, but all of those relationships are temporary and superficial and many of them end acrimoniously. I don't recall in any of Kathy's TV shows or books where she mentions having a real BFF. I saw Anderson and Andy Cohen on their AC2 tour in June. During the Q&A Anderson was asked if he'd given Kathy any advice after the photo came out. He said he'd talked to her in private but he didn't want to give out details about the conversation. So if Kathy's saying he never contacted her then she's lying. I think she's spent her entire career saying and doing anything to get herself in the headlines. And she seems to love being persecuted as much as Swifty and Lena Dunham. Re: Her latest meltdown. I don't buy that Andy Cohen is some kind of coke pusher. He is, by all accounts, a huge stoner. I have heard that guests are encouraged to get drunk before his show but that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. I can imagine him jokingly asking guests if they want to do blow with him. He makes those kind of jokes on air.

Her comparing herself to a Weinstein victim is offensive, especially considering she was in at least one of his films (even if it was brief).

What were all these people supposed to be 'protecting' her from? I just don't get it. Agents that didn't protect her after she got on the phone and yelled at Jeff Zucker - Kathy, most people don't get 'protection' after they aggressively disrespect their bosses bosses boss. It is known as a 'career limiting move.' She says Andy Cohen was a 'horrible' boss, but then says he only came on set 2 times in how ever many seasons.
The cheese seems to have slipped completely off her cracker. That video is just bizarre.
I'm actually more worried that she is mentally ill than I am that she's going to be 'disappeared' by the authorities in Singapore.

If you look at the comments from the YT video though they are almost all: "You go girl"... "I support you 100%"... etc... Ummm- wtf?? (maybe they didn't actually watch the vid- and just assume she is saying she was sexually assaulted??)
That's what pisses me off most of all- she is using the action of actual sexual predators, and trying to garner attention from it. That is really really gross. It also highlights for me that Lisa Bloom was not the problem at that horrible press conference. DListed has a bit about it- you know you're f%cked up when Michael K, et al call you out for being full of sh^t. Oh- also- The # she releases at the beginning of the vid- it's just to Harvey Levin's production company. Whoooaaa!! You sure got him Kathy :/

I watched the whole video and when she got to the part about "and now I need to talk about the women who were complicit" I thought "complicit with what?". The only real accusation I got out of that video is that Andy Cohen offered her blow twice. What a shocker! Somebody organize a boycott!
All I get is that she's bitter that she damaged her career and she's now badmouthing everybody she ever worked with as if it's their fault.

I just watched that video and I am confused.
First, I'll be shallow, she looked awful, it looked like she was wearing clown make up.
Second, I don't get what she was talking about? Was she comparing Harvey Levin and Andy Cohen to Harvey Weinstein? At first,I thought she was going to say that Weinstein sexually assaulted her, so I was completely confused with her rant.
When she "called out" the women who "didn't protect her" I was like, "protect you from who? From what? From yourself?" If anybody cursed out their boss, guess what, they'd get fired. I don't blame Zucker for firing her, and of course her publicist and agent took his side, because you don't curse out your boss. Think about women who go to work every day in shit jobs and never get promotions! So they decreased her salary 20%, I wonder how much money that was, I bet more than most women in America earn each year.
Kathy Griffin also doesn't get the uproar over the Trump photo. She thinks that people who are against what she did are Trump supporters; that's not true. To her it was all a joke. What she doesn't get is that 9/11 changed everything; that day the impossible became possible. I remember going to see Independence Day, in 1996 and we all looked at that movie and laughed because it seemed so impossible. I remember in 2002, 03 or 04 when some TV station was wondering if they should put that movie on TV, because of a scene where the alien ship destroys the White House. She said what she did wasn't illegal, and it wasn't, she's not in jail, she's free to travel, she just gets detained. I just don't get her victim attitude.

[shallow] For the past 3-4 years, I've gone to visit one of my best friends who lives about 7 hours away for New Years and our wild New Year's Evening is to sit on the couch, eat popcorn, and watch Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin. And now that's ruined. Thanks, Kathy.
