Who else is watching this? So far I have found the first ep uneven, although I am loving Annie Potts. And isn't that the girl from Popular? Isn't she a little young to be playing the mom of teens?

I watched it. I liked it. Had me LOL.
Annie Potts doesn't age. Yes, that's the girl from Popular (loved that show SFM). Leslie is 37, so it's possible for her to have teenage kids.

I looked her age up, wow, she looks a decade younger than 37.

I had to look up her age as well because I was thinking there was no way she could have kids that age. Proven wrong! Leslie looks great.
I'm really not sure about it. I'm not religious or spiritual so I found the repeated Bible quoting to be offputting, tbh. That being said, I did like Leslie and Annie Potts and some of the secondary characters quite a bit. I'll continue watching it to see where it goes.

Ha! All of us were thinking the same thing: how could someone that young have teenagers? I Googled the actress and was shocked to find out her age. I thought she'd be 25. I didn't make it through the pilot because it seems like a mix of Desperate Housewives and Steel Magnolias and I hate both those.

I liked it enough to watch it again. I wish it were a little more outrageous, but maybe it'll work up to that. I need something campy to tide me over after Desperate Housewives goes off the air and we're between seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race.

I'll keep watching for Annie Potts's outrageous mom. (It is a little bible quote-y though. I'll assume the quotes are accurate because I'm not going to watch with a bible on my lap)

Even though I'm so not religious, I loved the bible-quoting because being from Texas, I'm always hearing people quoting the Bible and most of them are the most hypocritical, judgmental jackasses I've ever known and I think that is what it's trying to show.

I love that Kristen Chenoweth's character is the choir's star soloist and she's a complete beeyotch.
It's worth watching again this Sunday.

Leslie Bibb looks amazing for 37. If you told me she was 25, I would believe you. She still looks the same as she did on Popular. Annie Potts also looks phenomenal!
They have to get Delta Burke on this show as Annie's frenemy. She would be perfect.
A friend of mine from Dallas told me years ago that the upper-class women there loved bold, colourful clothes and we certainly got a ton of that in this show. Guess she was right!
