Sign me up for the "finishing out this season and then I'm out" club. This season has just been such a 180° turn from Season 1 and much of Season 2. Olivia is whiny and has lost her moral compass. The whole B316 plot line is ridiculous as is the fact that Olivia ' s mom, the terrorist, is operating out of a luxury DC hotel. The first season they got at of the political stuff right with embellishments to add some drama and intrigue. This year, I'm laughing at how they portray the various campaigns.
I'm a little sad because of what the show was and could have been. But I'm not up for torturing myself for another whole year hoping it gets better.

The B316 thing is like the Initiative on Revenge; pointless clutter that is ruining the basis of the show. Maybe it will wrap up and they will say, as per Emily on Revenge, "Let's never mention B316 again."
Or is it B613? See how important it is? I did like it last week when Olivia's mother said, "You are the help. You clean up,after them." Because it's true. Sorry, Liv.
Go back to the weekly cases to fix and intersperse it with the campaign. That's the show I signed up for.
This seems to happen to many shows - they have a great cast, interesting premise and good ratings. And then they fuck it up by tangenting away from what made it likable and popular. Why is that?

Even more puzzling than B613 is the fact that Shonda has paired up Fitz and Olivia like they are a great couple and actually have a chance. They are horrible together! Fitz is an asshole and Olivia can't seem to kick him to the curb, no matter how petulant, jealous, and emotionally abusive he is. Look how he treats Mellie, Olivia, because it's a preview of the house in Vermont! I know these are fictional characters but really Fitz is horrible as a husband and boyfriend. I wish Shonda and the Olitz fans would let go of their dream pairing. It's dragging the show down.

B613 is so ridiculous that I can't even get it's name right!
I was also upset when Mellie didn't tell Fitz that his dad raped her and just took his screaming. That just seemed out of character and I'm hoping they're saving that revelation for later in the season to heal that rift during sweeps.
I will say I loved the James and Cyrus flashbacks so much - that's the show I miss.

Tonight's episode was a little better than the previous ones this season. Maybe it was the direction, as it was directed by Debbie Allen. However, I would like to think she wouldn't involve herself in this type of train wreck, but eh..there you go.
Issues I had:
- STOP. WITH. THE. PUCK/QUINN. SCENES. they are gross and stupid and I'm not into it at all.
- Papa Pope calls Liv telling her that her mother is there. HELLO!? Get someone over there (you've got the entire WH at your disposal!) and apprehend that bitch! But nooooo, gotta leave her to shoot Command #1 and create stupid drama.
- Fuck you, Cyrus Bean. You want the VP dead? Please don't allow a friggin' bomb earmarked for the President (which he'll never be in the same building with) kill hundreds of innocent people attending a funeral. Figure it out some other way. Plus, the VP-nominee is in the church, too! You're seriously an annoying MoFo.
- Is there a chance that Dominic is really Liv's father? Papa Pope was pretty specific in saying that he was involved in every.single.thing. that involved her mother. And then he kills him? In Liv's office? Classy.
- Every time Quinn would say "O.P.A." I wanted to shout, "OPA!!". It's never been referred to that way, so why are we doing it now?
- Command #2 Jake Ballard tries to come across as a mean dude to the ADA, but once they get the details about where Mama Pope is, he goes all "Oh, noes!!" and acts like a frightened school girl.
I guess I have a lot that is bugging me about the episode, but honestly it wasn't too bad. At least it had some interesting arches (except for Harrison and P/Q) that held my attention. And you throw that cross down, Mellie! Throw it down and nail those Grants to it.

All I heard last night was screaming & speechifying. I know dad's stabbed and there's a new bomb and Olivia's covered with lots of pillows.
OK, I don't know if it's the actors or what but I am GROSSED OUT every time Huck goes to make out with Quinn. He looks like he's inhaling her face and there's a ton of spit involved. It's not sexy and I peek thru my eyes every time like I'm watching a horror movie.

There are too many inappropriate and/or unhealthy romantic relationships on this show to count but at least the couples have chemistry. Huck and Quinn make me want to barf. No chemistry at all and with their history (him kidnapping and torturing her) their relationship is just FUBAR.

When Mama Pope said, "Bring my baby back!", that made the audience think that she was worried for Liv's safety with the bomb being in the school.
But since it wasn't and her intention was for the funeral all along...why would she think that Olivia wouldn't be there with the President?
Ugh.
