Pixar's new film Brave opens June 22nd. Will the movie be as gorgeous and lush as the trailers promise? Can John Ratzenberger handle a Scottish brogue? We'll find out in a few weeks!

I am so looking forward to this, moreso than any Pixar movie since WALL-E. Some of my favorite Scottish actors are in it.

I can hardly wait to take ds3 to this--she loved Tangled and this looks like the same kind of strong-girl-overcomes-stifling-gender-roles-type story.

I admit I cried during the trailer that had the beautiful Celtic song at the end.
I love how fluffy Merida's hair is too! If I saw this in 3D, I'd be tempted to reach out and pet her.

I'm spoilered on the whole thing. My daughter was given the kids' book version of this so I know the basic plot points. MrsCatHead, you will be pleased with how things turn out.
It's a really good story, and Lil' Ladybug and I are looking forward to it. Without giving too much away, I'd say that this is a great movie for mothers and daughters to see together.

I'm anxious to take azaleaprincess to see this. She puts real emphasis on princesses living for the day when their princes will come along and I think she needs a dose of the other view.
