I just hope we can avoid the teary death scene where Carrie tells him she's carrying his baby and she can't do it without him, blah blah blah.
I wonder if Quinn will be Carrie's love interest next season. I feel like his character got short changed this season.

I thought they were setting him up to be her love interest earlier in the season, but then they never really did anything with it. He really did get short-changed.

Is there going to be another season? Because that definitely seemed like a final ending to me!

I said the same thing, I really don't see where they can go with another season. Plus, I absolutely despise Carrie by this point. I knew I was going to hate the baby storyline, and I was right, all it did was to demonstrate how shallow, immature, and selfish she is. She is the most unbelievable character to me. I find it very hard to believe that someone with NO poker face whatsoever could rise so quickly up the CIA ladder.

I think this is the "reset" button the show needs. Carrie will be station chief in Istanbul, they left the door open for Saul to come back, and hopefully she'll request that Quinn be on her team. Her father offered to raise the baby, which is probably the best thing for everyone. If they suddenly turned Carrie into mother of the year it would ring very false. This way she can still be a part of the baby's life, even if it's superficially.
The one thing I felt was missing from this episode was the Brody family. Perhaps they'll get more of a resolution next season, but it was strange that we didn't get to see how they reacted to his death.

I am interested to see Carrie's life and career post-Brody. I figured it was coming, but I still can't believe he's dead! That was brutal. I really wish they had never made Carrie pregnant. HER DAD might keep the baby? Really? How old is he? Obviously her sister will be the one raising it. My friend and I were voting that she give the baby to Saul to raise. I really hope next season gives us The Quinn Show because he is the most interesting character to me at this point.

You're absolutely right Millis- she is the worst spy ever! How does she still have a job?

How Carrie not recognizable after the whole 'pretend disavowing and humiliation' plot that was I assumed known to the public? I'm curious, I like this show & will keep watching if it can be believable but HOW?
For some reason I really enjoyed seeing Carrie sucking on a dry cigarette. The idea of pregnant women never breaking the rules or fighting urges rings so false to me in everything except Hairspray.
Very pro-Quinn and pro-Saul's marriage. His wife is gorgeous, and enjoy the complexity of their relationship. The finale was so devastating it makes the Dana plot line even more pointless. Season could've opened with Dana working at a motel with a different name, or just the family adapting more to life with a notorious family member. Instead I just waited for Brody... and kept waiting...
Always enjoyed the caliber of acting--Danes, my lovely Damian Lewis, Abraham, Patinkin...
O/T but I was overheard in a bar saying I liked redheads and a redhead (nicknamed Red, naturally), leans over and whispers, "Once you go ginger, you tend to linger." I was tipsy and had a full body blush moment.

Anyone else catch the season premiere last night?
I wish that they had never done the baby storyline. Carrie momentarily fantasizing about drowning her baby was a little much. I know Carrie has never been maternal and her illness messes with her emotions, but damn.
When Carrie pulled up in front of the Brody house I briefly panicked that Dana Brody was going to come out of it. Please god no.
Not sure what to think of the whole Quinn storyline, although it's pretty clear he will end up working with Carrie sooner or later.

I would have stopped watching the show if anything happened to that bubba!
After last night's episode, Quinn will end up in Islamabad but I just hope that he and Carrie don't hook up, even though they are writing him to be in love with her.
