In the same Variety article I referenced up thread, Dana's storyline moves into the background. I like Quin and Carrie together. This season has been really good, if not intense. I'm excited to see what Mr. Senator brings to the agency.

Why do Saul and Carrie trust Quinn so much? I'm not saying they're wrong to do so but they were (rightly) suspicious of him last season. I bet they'd feel really stupid if he turns out to be a mole. Doubt it though. Then again, I do wonder what his role is supposed to be this season...
So the guy Carrie met, is the new Abu Nazir, yes? I love how he looks like a slightly annoyed business man whereas Nazir really had a scary vibe about him.

I like how Javadi dripped hamburger juice on himself. Abu Nazir would never do that.
I do not like the evolution of Quinn. He's Dar Adal's Black Ops #1 and he's got a kid with a cop. Now he's going all soft and squishy over Carrie? I don't think so. If this is a set up for a love triangle when Brody reappears - blech.
And damn those writers for actually making me feel sorry for Droopy Dog Dana crying in her room. Girlfriend's got some major trust issues and rightly so.
I loved the scene with Carrie and Jessica, mainly because the actresses have been friends since junior high and it's so cute to see them working together.

So Carrie's knocked up. Lamest plot device ever. I will be interested to see where this goes, but I don't think anyone wants to see Carrie pushing a stroller around the CIA. If the show didn't already jump the shark last season then this might be it.

So I'm not entirely sure on the timeline here, but are we supposed to think it's Brody's baby? If it were just the guy from the convenience store's, surely she'd just have an abortion, right?

I think it's been about 4 months since Carrie saw Brody, which is pretty long. But some people are saying the number of used pregnancy tests in her drawer indicates she suspected this before she went in the psych ward, so it very well could be Brody's baby. Shouldn't the hospital's blood work revealed the pregnancy?

Shouldn't the hospital's blood work revealed the pregnancy? It should have, yes. They wouldn't have put her back on the lithium if they knew she was pregnant.

All I could think of was the hard boozing/psych drugs weren't doing that baby any favors.
For me, the lamest plot last night was Dana moving out. My mother would have bitch slapped me into a new state if I pulled that on her. At the very least, she would not have given me a credit card or gift card w/ $300 on it, hug me and send me out with a stranger. Who is this Angela? Are Angela's parents okay with taking in Dana? So many questions. Major ball dropped by the writers on this one, but at least she's out of the picture for a while.

Yeah, I was just so glad to see Dana go, I didn't care how/why it happened.
