I agree about it not being a cliffhanger part, but I think now that I've been watching the following season that it was more about what it was going to do to the characters going forward and how it would change their lives. But yeah, still predictable.

You know what else is predictable? Juliette stopping by to see Rayna and inquire about her label!

It seems more like Teddy wants whatever Deacon has. Can't stand him! But Maddie going all Youtube with her "Maddie Claybourne" isn't going to ruffle any feathers or anything.

... and the fallout from Videogate begins. I had to laugh, though - I'm almost 50, and even I know that once something is on the Internet, removing it is like trying to slay a Hydra.

Scarlet is the lamest character in all of history.

Ooh I am more successful and have more visibility than any of my friends, but I'm so sad because they all abandoned me except in reality, I pushed them all away. And I'm going to get super drunk because I'm so emo about my mother than I'm going to risk my future career and embarrass my employer by being that girl onstage. But good thing my ex-boyfriend is just milling about to rescue me anytime something terrible befalls me!

Is anyone else still watching Nashville? Tonight's episode was the season finale and it was a great one! My heart hurts for Juliette and Avery. I actually teared up when she was coming clean to him. I really hope they make it next season.

I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop on Luke. He can't really be a stand-up dude, right? He seems creepy but hasn't done anything terrible yet.

I'm kind of tired of Maddie's tantrums. It doesn't help that the actress isn't very good. I just want them to keep the kids in the background.

Still watching! Love that Rayna aced Edgehill with the album launch, feel so bad for Gay Cowboy, and so sad for self-destructive Juliette.

I love this show. It's soapy, sure, but so damned entertaining. I'm really enjoying the dynamic between Rayna and Juliette. Most of the female characters on this show (with the exception of Scarlett) are extremely interesting.

Poor Will! I KNEW that "... no cameras in the bedroom, right?" would come back to bite him.

it was close to being cancelled. Lionsgate didn't want to pony up the bucks (it's really expensive to produce). I like Scarlet singing, I hope by the end of season 3 Rayna and Deacon are together. I like Juliette and Avery together. Will was upped to regular. It will be interesting to see where his character goes. The chick who plays his wife is making a movie, so she could be done by the first or second episode of season 3.

Not just any movie, she's gonna play Jem! I hope they make Zoey a regular. I think she is absolutely stunning and has a gorgeous voice. I didn't see every episode this season but did they ever address the fact that she is trying to make it in Nashville and she is not white? I never heard that come up on the ones I saw. It seems like a pretty big thing to omit.

It kills me that the two characters I hate the most, Maddie and Scarlett have the best voices. I watched the Nashville concert a couple of weeks ago and Clare Bowen's natural Aussie accent is much better than the baby voice she puts on for the show. Gunnar's British accent is pretty appealing too.
