Also, JLM has now completely inhabited the role of Sherlock Holmes. It's incredible to see.

Yes, I like the friendship and respect. I think a romance would drag the show down. But Miller and Liu have great chemistry.

Agreed. Just once, I'd like to see an opposite sex crime-fighting duo that NEVER hooks up. The only other show I know of that did that was The 4400.

I don't think they did. I always thought it was a brother/sister type relationship-- an intense bro/sis relationship-- but platonic nonetheless.
Count me in as being against a Holmes/Watson hookup. Fantastic chemistry, but all wrong for this type of story.

Nope, not that I know of, although they skirted it a few times, usually when Stabler's wife was throwing him out of the house or Benson was dealing with her own family stuff. I stopped watching Bones years ago but was annoyed to hear their characters were getting married. I think Castle & Beckett also hooked up; doubly annoying. |
