It happened 7 months ago, I wonder why we are hearing about it now? The Cumberbatches need some good press because Scotland Yard is breathing down Sophie's neck. She's about to be indicted for money laundering, child trafficking, drug distribution, murder and spousal abuse. Just watch, the Cumberbatches and their dolls are going to be pap strolling some time in the next 3-6 months. |

I couldn't find anything about his wife being indicted for any of those things. Can you elaborate?
I'm currently really enjoying BC as Patrick Melrose in Patrick Melrose. That first episode is a tour de force.

I don't follow BC closely but I think those are all things that stans believe about BC's wife, in the vein of the Robert Pattinson/Kristen Stewart stan theories.

I believe Ginger was joking and assuming the voice of one of Cummerbund Bendyback’s more rabid fans, who refer to themselves as “Cumberbitches.” They very famously hate Sophie and ascribe all sorts of nefarious deeds to her.
It is my understanding that Sophie is a normal person (maybe just a tiny bit pretentious) who is fond of her husband and children.

"You mean I've spent years of my life proving Sophie is a drugs mule/murderer/child porn victim/husband beater/CIA agent and it's not true?!" Maybe I'm expecting too much self-awareness from them. |

Well I just checked Tumblr and the conspiracy theorists are surprisingly calm about this one. They have a fit about "PR" every time a blurry fan photo appears on some random instagram, but when it's an obvious publicity piece that's so widely disseminated that my senior citizen father told me about it...nothing.
They kind of appear to be losing interest. The craziest Tumblrs are now mostly cute animal photos, which I've noticed is a bit of a trend when wack jobs run out of steam with their conspiracy theories.
