So, it looks like Doctor Strange will do well at the box office. It's already been a smash hit internationally, predictions for the US are also looking strong. Mostly that pleases me because it will make the crazies' heads explode. I thought they said his career is ruined now that he's displeased them by marrying and having kids and not being their pretend boyfriend anymore?

Bless him, he was so game on SNL last night. It wasn't his fault all the sketches were terrible.

I saw Doctor Strange last night and thought he was excellent in it. I still don't find him attractive, but he is less actively-bizarre looking when in motion. And really, he spent a lot of time standing next to Chiwetel Ejiofor and no one looks good when they're up against that.

His face was definitely less disconcerting in Dr. Strange, particularly with the facial hair. That helped immensely. If he had a beard at all times I wouldn't think he was so homely. SNL was actively mediocre last night. There were some bright spots, like the "Why is Benedict Cumberbatch Hot?" sketch (and a big thank you to whoever wrote that because I now understand why other people might think he's hot, I still don't however.) And my hat's off to Aidy Bryant for managing to play dead all throughout that bachelorette party sketch. That could not have been easy. |

I laughed pretty hard at the Why is Benedict Cumberbatch Hot? sketch. And the "cool" toilet.
