I read that if Harry comes he won’t have to self isolate after arrival, royals get a dispensation similar to a diplomat.

I've not heard that officially anywhere, although I'm sure Harry would think he wouldn't need to isolate. He'd be ripped apart if he didn't though. I think if the worst does happen though, there's not going to be a big funeral. They won't get away with it while everyone else is limited to 30 at a funeral. I think they'd have to have something low key and then a memorial service or something later in the year.
I feel bad speculating about this, and I really do hope he's OK. It's a terrible time for anyone to lose a family member.

30 to a funeral, that’s higher than our middle level was at 25, limited to 10 here now.

I think it will be a big funeral, done in the same way they did Trooping the Color or Remembrance Day...televised with lots of pageantry, a big military salute, but few actual people. In a way, it's even more somber that way.

Yeah I don’t think Prince Philip is long for this world.

Here is the quote I read, from Daily Mail, so maybe not accurate - So I guess it depends on this ‘red list’ status.

Ahh, the "red list" is a new thing that's just come in, and people coming from those countries have to quarantine in airport hotels for 10 days. The USA isn't on that list, but Harry would still have to do the bog standard 10 day isolation wherever he was staying.

Harry better hope his grandfather recovers or Oprah is nice and delays airing the interview because if something happens to Philip and there’s even a whiff of Harry being upset with his family in that interview he’s going to get raked over the coals.

Interesting you should mention H. DM has a story that a Mr. Dean Stott, H and M’s longtime friend, is clapping back about the world media not fully understanding their “statement” which has come under media criticism. “Taken out of context” is the phrase used. Yes, everyone in the world simply doesn’t understand what H and M really meant. :/
With everything going on...just uggh. Yeah, I know...DM but 5K comments. At least this guy is named.

I think Meghan and Harry (interview seems to be primarily of Meghan) are going to look awful if that interview airs during a public mourning/funeral situation for Philip. It doesn't even matter what they say. Even if for once they refrain from aiming pointed innuendos at Harry's family, the timing of them pulling focus back to themselves and their plight would be bad. That "life of service" comment is going to be given new perspective if the world is in the midst of eulogizing Prince Philip for his 73 years of service as Prince Consort, in addition to the 6 years he put in fighting in World War II. Meghan in Montecito dredging back up how awful it was for her during the 71 days she put in as a working royal and promoting her upcoming Netflix projects? There's no way for that to come off well.
