I'm not watching any movie with zombies that can run. Hell no. I'm sorry. I have enough issues with regular zombies.

Are there any teasers after the movie or during the credits?
A friend is about to see it. I'm still trying to decide, since I found the book surprisingly boring.

We didn't stay until after but I heard that there wasn't anything after credits.
I quite liked this movie. Fast moving, nicely creepy and some great rage zombies. I'd definitely see it again and/or buy the DVD. Nothing like the book but I went in expecting it to be completely different.

I just came back from seeing this and quite liked it. It's like 28 Days Later on a global scale. Those motherfuckers run fast! Lots of scenes of zombies stampeding like it was the running of the bulls in Pamplona or something. I thought Brad was good although I understand the movie has some notable differences from the book.
Mireille Enos has the stereotypical wife role in this, staying behind and watching over the kiddies while hubbie saves the world. I couldn't help but think that if Angelina Jolie was cast in Brad's role of a former UN field officer, she'd be out battling zombies while her husband stayed behind.

I went in expecting a lot of differences, but there was literally not a single plot point taken from the book. Not even patient zero was the same. It was still a good, intense action movie, but I'm left wondering what Max Brooks thought when he realized they used the title and threw away everything else.

Went in expecting a generic Hollywood summer movie instead of the book, and actually enjoyed it for what it was. It was hard for me to suspend my disbelief that Brad Pitt was going to save us all, but I loved all the large scale photography and aerials were they kind of looked like ants. That product placement was so weird, so obvious yet without showing the label when he drank from it, and I still can't figure out if the clacking teeth was supposed to be funny. My theater cracked up and it took all the tension out. When those scientists opened that door I instantly thought of Human Centipede.

Now HC is back in my head. *cries*

Just got back from seeing it. Enjoyed it from beginning to end. Are they making a sequel?

So I was reading about Maddox making a cameo. What scene was he in?
