I saw it with a couple of friends and thought it was hysterical. I would see it again. Thought the villain was obvious, but for a comedy that didn't matter.

Saw this today and loved it! Laugh out loud, funny.

Glad to hear people are liking this because the reviews I saw were not praising it at all. Hopefully word of mouth will push it up.

The previews totally turned me off but I thought it was hysterical. Sometimes it was just the expression on Melissa's face that had me laughing out loud. I didn't realize that Jory McIntyre of NKOTB fame played one of her brothers.

I thought it was great! I laughed a lot, and even though the story was predictable, I thought the details (the family and the artwork) made it extra funny. Also, I loved that it is a predictable, funny bro-cop movie, but with women as the central characters. I will also fully confess to being an easy mark for laughing at a string of semi-creative profanity.
The only thing that took away from this was kind of peripheral--I'd just read a book about police and FBI corruption in Boston, but still! I hope I get to see this again.

Saw it tonight and loved it -- but I am a big fan of Melissa McCarthy (she's a hometown girl) and Sandra Bullock. Loved that MM got to be funny without relying on fat jokes, and SB is a great straight man. Biggest takeaway (ok, maybe not the biggest, but it was up there): Marlon Wayans looked really cute in this. I am troubled because he has never struck me as attractive before. It's like I don't know myself at all. Or I could still be emotionally scarred from seeing previews for "White Chicks" and don't want to admit that same guy is kind of hot. I actually liked his role a lot. Seemed like there was a setup for a possible sequel at the end. I'm easy -- I'd see it. Loved Joey Mac as MM's brother, along with Bill Burr. Hell, her whole family was great. I also loved seeing Kaitlyn Olson (or as I will always call her, Sweet Dee) and Thomas Wilson. Glad a lot of people seem to like this. Nice to see proof that women are funny and can put butts I theater seats.

Yeah, it was weird seeing Wayans just being sort of laidback... I'd never considered him as a love interest before. I was disturbed by my feelings about him as well. Joey McIntire was awesome, my favorite line for sure (notwithstanding the wonderful profanity) was the brother's "Ah you a knock?" "What? A knock?" "A KNOCK!" "Oh, a narc..." Also, the genuine interest about whether Bullock was transgender, and the close shave comment made me snort.

I saw it last night and I'm still laughing over some of Melissa McCarthy's lines. Damn, she is funny. Also count me in with those who found Marlon Wayans adorable. I was disappointed he and Sandy didn't get to suck face at all.

I was disappointed he and Sandy didn't get to suck face at all. I laughed til I cried when MM cracked on Sandra's pyjamas. And I'm ashamed I laughed so heartily at every single one of her albino jokes. That was Eastern European Sweet Dee. Her scene was small, but hilarious. " Get out, bull in china shop!"

I'm pretty sure they announced that they were going to make a sequel already because the movie only cost $43 mil to make and it's taken in $95 mil so far and is still going strong.. It's kicked the ass of big blockbusters like White House down & The Lone Ranger.
