They did definitely try to tone her down for 12YAS (she's a slave, after all), but she was still friggin' gorgeous. In the first scene we see her in where the plantation owner who is obsessed with her is being all gross and pawing at her, he turns her head to the side and her profile was just breathtaking. Her bone structure is amazing.

She's totally my new girl crush. Gorgeous, fashionable, talented, smart, everything. Her family is pretty accomplished and seem like interesting people.

That magazine cover someone posted upthread is super awesome. She looks awesome.

Loved her speech. Her accent is lovely but strange. It's like African, English, and American at the same time. We also know who Oprah's rooting for now. She was on the verge of tears.
