Moving back to Fridays in Feb. Saw it on my Instantgram. Hallelujah! Made no sense whatsoever to move it. Maybe now, it'll have a chance at a 4th season.

Fridays on Fox are a death sentence. That is the place where they send their shows to die. BOOO!
You better not, Fox! I'm sick of your crap and judgement on good shows.
In other random news, I was doing some research on my family to become a member of the Daughters of the Revolution and found an interesting tidbit. My 7x Great-Grandfather, Abraham Crocheron was like BFFs with Col. Ichabod Crane during the war and thereafter. Apparently, both their names are found on a set of pillars of the Asbury Methodist Episcopal Church in Northfield, Staten Island.
My mind was blown! I know that Crane in the Sleepy Hollow lore is just based on the actual same Crane that my family knew, but still I found it to be an interesting connection.

Friday isn't a death sentence, and neither is Thursday. Something has to air on those nights, and scifi/fantasy shows tend to do well. As long as people watch within 3 days (the commercials), it counts for advertisers, and Fox disables fast forwarding on their VOD so any viewing that way counts toward the commercial ratings. People may not watch live but will catch up over the weekend. It's why Grimm has done so well on Fridays. And the non-genre show Elementary gets a huge lift when 3 days of playback are added. If Sleepy Hollow doesn't get another season after this, it's because last season was a mess and it shed a lot of viewers who haven't come back. I nearly dropped the show because it sucked so bad last season, but I decided to give it a couple of episodes this year. I'm mostly enjoying it, but I rolled my eyes hard when I saw Nikki Reed and Shannyn Sossamon in the credits at the start of the season.

I fully understand that programming needs to take place on Friday and NBC having Grimm on that night is fine. I'm just stating that from FOX's perspective, they tend to push their "unwanted" or "on the bubble" shows to Friday when they're close to being axed.
FOX is so notorious for doing this that the network created promos for Fringe's move to Fridays that poked at their reputation.
Now, I agree that if the show sucks or is bad, etc. that would define its stay. However, I've seen them move shows before even giving them a real chance and they go on to become cult and underground classics (see: Firefly, Wonderfalls).
They already put Ramsay's shows on Fridays, so that should just be fine. Basically, they're doing this to shuffle around for American Idol's final season. I'll be so glad when that crap is gone.

Firefly and Wonderfalls were about 8 network heads ago. The current regime have only been in place for just over a year, and the network has a new-ish head of scheduling. And as you say, Gordon Ramsay's shows are going to Friday, and they're among the strongest, most consistent shows Fox has. I deal with this stuff for a living, so it drives me bonkers when people say networks are trying to kill off shows, as that very rarely happens.

I'm loving this season so far. Why couldn't this have been season 2?

Joe and Jennie sitting in a tree... Seriously. They have serious chemistry. I was so excited to see him in the opening credits. Loving that Katrina is gone! More proof she was bringing the show down. Ichabod never should have had a wife. The same emotional heft could have been achieved with a sister.
