So, I may be in the minority but I don't want Abbie/Ichie to hook up. I looove them as bffs, but I just don't see THAT type of chemistry between them. I see more chemistry with him and the sister. Also, I don't think Katrina is dead. I am thinking she made a pact with Moloch to spare Ichie's life.

Well this show continues to be awesome. And I think this episode cemented forever my scifi/fantasy fangirl nerdiness, since seeing James Frain, Craig Parker and John Noble in the credits was like Christmas!

It was like a Lord of Rings reunion last night, nice to see Craig Parker.

I guess I didn't get how the "sin eater" managed to unlink Crane and the horseman AND cure him of the poison. But whatever. Still loving the show.
For a second I thought they were going to show Crane shooting that guy in the back. It would have been a shock to see a show's "hero" do something like that -- it would certainly ruin the "Gary Stu" vibe some fans say he has. I was holding my breath during that scene.
I can't help it -- I am unabashedly shipping Crane and Abbie. I don't generally "ship" TV couples but they are too cute (and it'd be nice to see a relationship based on friendship and mutual respect). Wife? What wife?

People are really saying he's a Gary Stu? This is what happens when the majority of popular shows have anti-heroes, people forget what real heroes are like.

Yeah, I've seen people on ONTD call him that. They also say he's adjusted too well to technology, etc. I admit I like the bits that show him reacting to things like that, but the whole show can't be Crane going, "omg! What is that?!" (Although -- I would totally watch that, I admit)
And yeah, people are so used to anti-heroes with a "dark side" that I think an actual good guy seems Gary Stu-ish. Is it so bad to have a character who's a nice guy?

I just want Abbie and the Captain to take Crane clothes shopping, but please don't dress him up like a hipster.

I just want Abbie and the Captain to take Crane clothes shopping, but please don't dress him up like a hipster. Can't they find someone on etsy that makes cosplay clothing from the Revolutionary War period and then just slightly modernize it to keep him looking amazing?

I forget where I read it, but a showrunner or writer mentioned that right now the clothes are all that connects him to his past, where he was most comfortable, thus they didn't want to throw him in jeans and a J. Crew sweater right away. That makes sense to me. Does anyone else giggle every time he says 'leftenant'? As far as I can tell, no one has updated the term for him yet, which makes it funnier to me. This is appointment TV for me. Several black leads and other people of color (Cho, Gonzalez)... I'm on board. Also, wow, talk about a transformation: a shot of Lyndie Greenwood out of Terminator mode.
