It looks to be Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey:

Dornan began his career in front of the camera modeling for campaigns like Dior, Armani, and, quite memorably, Calvin Klein underwear. It seems fitting that the man who will play the 28-year-old CEO of Grey Enterprises Holdings, Inc. was once dubbed “the Golden Torso” by The New York Times. He made his film debut in Sofia Coppola’s 2006 movie Marie Antoinette, and has since gone on to guest star as Sheriff Graham in the ABC series Once Upon a Time and play a serial killer in the BBC miniseries The Fall.

Dakota Johnson still stars as Anastasia Steele and Jennifer Ehle as Anastasia's mother. A Hollywood Reporter writer tweeted that they're hearing Juno Temple passed on playing Kate, while Frank Grillo declined to play the head of Christian's security team.

Victor Rasuk has been cast as Jacob Jose and Luke Grimes will play Christian's brother Elliott. Filming's been pushed back to early December.

Dakota looks older with the dark hair... in fact she looks older than Jamie Dornan there, which probably isn't what they were going for. I don't really care though since I will be watching this movie purely for the snark factor.

The release date's been moved back to Valentine's Day weekend 2015. Some quotes from the EW cover story:

For Johnson, 24, the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, it meant seriously working out for the first time in her life. “Obviously, I want to look good naked,” the newly brunette actress tells EW. “I totally understand now why people exercise, because it kind of f—ing feels awesome.”

Dornan, who spent his early days as a model frequently undressing for the camera, isn’t the least bit anxious about the graphic sex scenes he and Johnson are about to film. “I’m a fairly worldly guy,” says Dornan. “I grew up in a very liberal place. I’m not saying we had a playroom, but I’m not shocked by [the sex in the book]. It’s essential to tell the story. I can’t believe films that don’t invoke the sexual side of it. So it works for me.”

It won't be released for another 18 months? Will anyone still care? This is the kind of strike while the iron is hot cross promotion that will cool when another hot book comes along, which it will. Grey is already cooling.
