I still think Dornan is sex on a stick. I thought the elevator scene was hot. But I can't see how this is going to be anything but a hot mess unless they completely rewrite it.

Yeeeeah, this one looks like a humongous crapfest. And that's just from watching the trailer with the sound off.

That dude is pretty cute, but I saw elsewhere today scruffier pics and he looks better scruffed. This movie looks atrocious. I think I will stab out my eyes first.

My issue other the horrendous trailer is that we'll be inundated with the endless nudge nudge wink wink from every and all talk shows and news reports until this shows up in theatres. That was painful enough the first time, I imagine it will be even worse the second time around.

This. I don't take the movie seriously at. all. (obvs they do), but Dornan is sexy as hell. He does look different without his scruff, but I'm willing to overlook that. I heard that they did rewrite the screenplay for "character development", so maybe that'll improve it somewhat?

And I read that they don't plan on doing a sequel (at least not yet), but my guess is that this movie could either totally bomb or do really, really well just for the sex factor. And then and only then would they try to milk the series with a sequel for the last two books, IMO.

Dakota and Jamie were on The Today Show yesterday morning and it was beyond awkward. They barely spoke and were there just to push the "clean" trailer. Dakota was terribly bizarre and Jamie seemed like it was a waste of time. And it is! The movie doesn't come out until February 2015. This isn't a show that should feature and interview for this type of film and should be done during late night or I guess variety night shows. It's going to be a tough sell, but you need a strong interviewer to really carry the segment and do it right.

Even if it's acting and all that, I don't know how I'd feel having my hubby go out and perform these racy scenes having just given birth to our child. Hormones. Another Country. Wouldn't want to be in their shoes!

Going by that trailer he looks about as intimidating as a wet newspaper. This has made for TV quality written all over.

And not getting any sex appeal from that guy either. He's very generic looking and completely devoid of charisma.

I will admit that he does not look threatening in the slightest. But if they use that to their advantage, then it might work. I like the idea of presenting him as this perfect guy and then boom, nope he is a super freak.
