I just started watching House of Cards. So good. I went to PTV to see what people were talking about in the first 5 episodes, sadly only season 2 episodes are up. Makes me miss Twop. I kept meaning to watch HoC before Twop closed.

Yeah, same. I just watched the craptacular Hemlock Grove, and I wanted to see what people were saying, because that show is a big bag of wtf. There's 23 comments in the thread. Bummer.

There's a poster in the Game of Thrones section who I find very amusing. They have a fixation on the idea of Arya being hired to assassinate her own sister but not recognizing her until after she's killed her, and is writing novel-length posts coming up with all kinds of wacky scenarios where that could happen (e.g. Sansa becomes an assassin herself! The guy pretending to be her dad has a secret psychotic daughter!). They also keep posting random YT videos to prove that people often don't recognize their family when they see them out of their usual context, and photos of the actress who plays Sansa to show that she's unrecognizable now from how she was two years ago, even though she looks exactly the same in both photos. I don't think they're a troll, just curiously motivated.

Oh man, it gets so much worse. The first episode is sort of quietly weird and disjointed. The entire second season makes no sense at all. And whoever makes decision on that show is really into barfing. There's a lot of it. A lot.
Quality programming!

Well, I watch Under the Dome, which is probably the stupidest show on TV, partly because it thinks it is high drama. I wouldn't call it hate-watching, more like fascination-watching to see what kind of ridiculous thing will be passed off as nail-biting drama this week.
The forum at PTV has a good number of posters and all are like me - fascinated by the absolute WTFery of the show, playing "how low will it go?" The comments are quite amusing and add to the enjoyment of watching.

The Outlander posters seem all right for now but there was one person who believes that Prince Harry got his red hair from Jamie, so...

I don't really like that there is a new thread for every single episode of a new show. Most of the shows don't generate enough traffic and the separate threads stifles discussion between episodes.
That said, I have no idea where else to read about other posters' opinions on tv shows. I have had enough of imdb--Enough! The Extant forum is surprisingly good (I thought it would be all about "I hate Halle Berry!" but it so hasn't). Unfortunately, the Dallas posters from TWOP have come over to Previously.TV. I guess once the fall season begins, the moderators may figure out what needs changes and what should stay the same.

Yeah, they should see what the traffic is for a show before creating all those individual threads for episodes and characters. What's wrong with a general gabbery thread? If it gets girthy, they can subdivide it later.
You can't even start a show thread there. You have to request it from the mods, which is fine, it they want at least three sub-thread names before starting. I wanted to see if anyone watches Sensitive Skin (apparently no one here does) but it's not worthy of multiple threads.
