Heh. It's quite entertaining sometimes. One of the recent forbidden topics was whether or not it's okay to shoot dogs that keep trespassing on your land and terrorizing your livestock. The posts went something like this:

Poster 1: Shoot 'em.
Poster 2: I agree. Shoot 'em.
Poster 3: I can't believe you people. You're horrible.
Poster 4: Let's drop this. I don't want this thread to be locked.
Poster 1: I still say shoot 'em.
Mod: Drop the topic and move on, please.
Poster 5 (missing mod's post): I don't think it's right to shoot them. (Edited to add) Sorry, I missed the mod's post telling us to drop the subject. Should I delete my post?
Mod: Are you serious? I can't believe you're asking that.
Poster 6 (missing a lot of posts): Shoot everything a lot.

Ughhhh, and I've been having so much fun not qualifying EVERY word I say as being just my opinion.

It's been a sucky summer, so I haven't posted a ton here, there, and everywhere (thanks, Paul). But it almost felt refreshing to not put the dreaded "IMO" after everything, or get a "tone" warning from Howard. I seriously hope that gal is off somewhere doing pilates or another hobby besides staying up all night and editing posts. I always felt sort of sad for her (but only sort of) when I'd log on the next day and see corrections and edits that must have gone on for hours and hours.

I think Howard came on board during the Bravo era, yes? I see no reason why they would go to that terrible pool of candidates. I've seem some old school recappers on there, like Omar and Couch Baron and I think Kim, but they are all pre-Bravo. If they are smart, they'll only pull from that crowd or get some fresh blood in the forums.

It seems like the last week or so was loaded almost exclusively with people unloading on Howard (and getting the final ban). If some other places saw that and still chose her as a moderator - that's pretty dumb. Of course you want a civilized environment, but that chick was off the charts with moderating things that weren't in the least bit offensive or controversial.

I just hope that they don't tap Lockley to run their Supernatural forums. She was an obsessed Dean nut who allowed the TWOP forums to degenerate into All Sam-bashing All The Time.

It looks like the same people from TWoP who claimed to hate Kelly and Live! so much are at P.tv writing essays about how much the show sucks. I was hoping for some more balance there, but I should have figured those people couldn't live without their Ripa fix.

I cannot stand when people post in threads about how a show needs to be cancelled. It's really easy to not watch something - why keep posting that something needs to go away? How about just don't watch it or read about it?

Speaking of watching and reading - of course they found fault with Kelly Ripa because she was at the Hall of Fame induction...

My husband told me that last night and I think he said Kelly blew him a kiss? Of course, making it about her. I really wasn't surprised that she was there - Hey, look at me, too. No way though she can even try to take credit for the Hall of Fame like she does for his broadcasting career - smh.

So I guess she crashed the ceremony and Michael really hates her (in Kelly Ripa fantasy hate world).
