Off topic question, but I used to really like the TWOP recaps (I never would have understood the dream sequences in the Sopranos without them!), where do the cool kids go for good recaps now?

Well, hell - I've already been edited and scolded! I used the nickname "Pussy Galore", and it was called inappropriate and misogynistic. Geez, even TWOP used to let that one go because, you know, it's a pretty famous Bond character. It's not like I'm calling somebody a C word. It took them a few weeks, but they seem to have found mods who are willing to be just as dickish as TWOP (who know that could happen!).

She was a pretty kickass Bond girl too. Ugh. Maybe the screen name should have been amended to "Pussy Galore Bond Girl"; hit them upside the head to make a point.

Not a cool kid, but I like the AV Club for recaps. They don't do every show, but their recaps are a good read because they analyze and get to the point quickly. In other words, Jacob doesn't work for them.

So I did something the other day that I have never done in all my years at TWoP. I reported a poster. And I have to admit that I did it more because the poster bugged me rather than the actual infraction. For a few weeks, in Master Chef ep threads, cubfin would come in about 8 hours before the show and make a "prediction" about who was going to be eliminated. She'd also sometimes "predict" who'd win the mystery box challenge and/or the elimination challenge. Of course, she'd always be right. Once could have been a lucky guess, twice a coincidence but the third time and it was obvious she must have gotten an early feed of the show somehow since these predictions were only posted on the day the show aired. I might have let it go but when people would post that she had guessed right, she'd quote that post and act like she was a genius for guessing and pat herself on the back. It was obviously a way to get attention. Anyway, after the third week, I reported her and the predictions stopped and the mod even made mention that someone had been posting spoilers.
