Yeah, if anything, she gets the lifetime sympathy card (not to sound cold, because that must be traumatic for everyone). She could become a more mature artist because of this (if she stops wearing cat ears). I did wonder about her and how difficult it must be for her as an artist. Has she said anything on social media? Yeah, she put out a statement about how her heart was broken, in which she couldn't even bothered to use proper capitalization.

At least it wasn't an emoji of a breaking heart. Small mercies.

I would say like anyone within that Arena last night she is probably in a state of shock, anyone would do well to make any sense in that aftermath, never mind remembering capitals or grammer.
I don't know enough about her but I'm not going to be snarky today. I leave that for some other time.

BTW, I would like to add that I am a Tower 2 evacuee, so I'm not completely oblivious to what people must be going through.

I haven't really enjoyed her at all on the shows that my children watch, but I feel awful for her, and all the attendees.

Wow, she didn't use capitalization in her tweet? Guess she's not really devastated...

Personally, I find tweeting condolences totally inappropriate (in any instance) but I am an old fogey. I don't know what celebrities should do instead, or what they used to do, but twitter just seems way too informal for something that should have more gravitas.

But if she didn't tweet, then I think that would cause drama too. I dunno, Ariana's usually on my bitch eating crackers list but I have absolutely no idea how I'd handle any of this if I were in her shoes. I personally can't snark at this point.

No, you're right, it probably would cause an issue, because tweeting is now the way it's done. I just personally find it .. too informal. It's like that Seinfeld episode where they're upset that they're getting a condolence call from someone on a cell phone walking down the street.
And I wasn't really snarking on her about the heart emoji - I was actually thankful that it was words-based. I could see tweeting an emoji in response to a mass killing becoming acceptable, though...
