I'm debating whether to head over to the Divorce Pool thread. It's ALWAYS the right decision to go to the Divorce Pool. If you really, really believe in a couple and want to stake a claim for true love, you start your betting at five years and above. I'm giving the donut licker 18 months on this one. I knocked off 6 months because of the mention of "her beautiful and historic home" which that dude will no doubt be getting kicked out of.

Yeah - most celebrity marriages don't last very long, so it can't hurt, haha. On the plus side, Ariana's new single, Point of View, (which is supposedly inspired by her now husband,) is one of her better songs, in my opinion. So at least we'll always have that!

Apologies for the double post (looks like this thread has been quiet since I last posted in May.) Not sure if anyone's a big fan of Ariana's music, but she's been posting some new live performances on YouTube. I've never really followed Ariana super closely, but I've been impressed. Her live performances for "Point of View" and "My Hair" are pretty good, in my opinion.

The Vevo live performances on YouTube are STELLAR. So simple, but that's all it has to be. Her voice has such a range and ease to it, she's a worthy protege of Mariah and Whitney.

I saw her in concert once, at Jingle Ball - where the radio station has a bunch of artists doing short performances. I wasn't there to see her, but I was impressed she put on a good show. Plus the artist I was there to see (Pitbull) ended up no-showing, so she and another singer (I think Austin Mahone) teamed up to do an impromptu set to cover for Pitbull. And she handled it really well.

I just wish she would work a little on her enunciation. She has a lovely voice that she ruins often with mush mouth.

My eldest and her friends would gush over Ariana's latest music, while all I heard was someone who sounded like she was trying to sing immediately after having major dental work done.

I love her voice, love it, and I truly feel that, of all the chart-dominating and/or pop-culture saturating ladies that have emerged in the last 20 years, her, Jenniffer Hudson and Adele are the three voices that will endure and have the biggest impact on future generations (just like Mariah, Whitney, and Celine had on Grande, Hudson, and Adele). Also, I never had any intereste in the live-action Beauty And The Beast remake Disney released several years ago, but the Ariana/John Legend title song is so pretty and, imo, stands tall right next to the Celine/Peabo Bryson original. Plus that amazing dress that Ariana wears in the video and the choreography that turns her and the other girls into a gorgeous rose and petals is AMAZING! www.youtube.com/watch?v=axySrE0Kg6k
