I saw some indie r&b singer said she looked like she was being forced into the business because she looks terrified. Sounds about right. Maybe it is just her natural face, but she looks very uncomfortable.

Yeah, she has this weird girly princess robot thing going on right now and seems nervous onstage.
She also needs to work on her vocals, as she's already having problems like vocal-chord hemorrhages. Which might be normal? But I have only heard of older performers getting stuff like that and polyps.

I think she has a good voice, but her enunciation isn't great and in the video for Problem (which is catchy as fuck), Big Sean's mouth has more presence than both she and Iggy Azalea do. I don't really like or dislike her, but it's bizarre to me that someone who's been performing for as long as she has can possess so little stage presence. I think part of the problem is how young she looks, but I'm don't know what she can do about that, even without the hair her face does not look like that of an adult.

Agree about her lack of enunciation and looking like an 11 year old girl. Her brother on BB can go home at anytime too. He seems like a consummate faux-celeb thrilled to be in his sister's orbit.
O/T what other Rihanna antics have there been at award shows?

Big Sean's lips are looking kind of sexy in the video. (Shame on Naya Rivera for messing up whatever they had!) In terms of stage presence in the video Big Sean and Iggy Azelia > Ariana. While it looks like Ariana actually can dance a little (as opposed to the late Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey), that doesn't mean that Ariana should be dancing in her videos. Why can't she just stand there (more or less) and sing and let the backup dancers do the heavy lifting (so to speak)? By the way, those white knee-high boots look ridiculous. |

Since I didn't know her until her brother showed up on Big Brother, he's the more famous one.
However, we anxiously await the moment when he announces who his famous sister is, and the House Guests collectively say "who?"

Yeah, it's fun to so here side-eyeing and giggling at people like Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears, but it's not like I ever saw a Rihanna performance and went, "Whoa. That's why she's famous."

Watched the Problem video. It's almost stunning how little presence she has. I could have shook it and gotten into the singing more tha she did. The song is awesome, though.
