I also find it creepy that she's too scared to openly allow them to be disposed of. How is it any different if they just sit there for years not being used?

I perceived it a little differently. Like the destruction of the embryos is a complete non-issue for her and he's just a dickbag. It said that the lawsuit came about because she wouldn't agree to preserve the embryos "under all circumstances". They had previously agreed that in the event that either one died, the embryos would be thawed and no further action would be taken. AFTER they broke up, contacted her and tried to get her to agree that he could have control of the embryos if she died. She never responded and he ended up suing her. He just sounds like a troll whose using the legal system to harass the ex with whom he's still obsessed.

I think she's highly over-rated as an actress. It's all screeching and exaggerated accent, a caricature. Why she's nominated for Emmys is beyond me when there are so many better actresses on TV.

The over-the-top persona grates on me as well. I'd love to see her in something where she gets to tone things down and give a subtle performance.

I'm curious as to how Hot Pursuit is going to do at the box office. It is her first real leading role since becoming a TV star. I wonder if her success there will translate to the movies. I think it looks like total crap and Reese Witherspoon is not the draw she used to be. But who knows? There are so few movies aimed at women anymore maybe it'll be a hit.

She works my last nerve on Modern Family, but she was actually decent in Chef, the movie from Jon Favreau.

Outside of her performances, she lost me at some awards show (probably SAG), where the cast said she should speak, and she played dumb like her English is so bad she couldn't possibly. This after she's been working almost exclusively in English for over 10 years.

Which is why I want it to be a hit. My personal feelings are I have no interest in it, but if it doesn't do well it will only make the studios feel justified in doing even less female-driven films.

I forgot Reese could be funny. Sofia can be funny, but her shtick gets old quick. It'll be interesting to see if the funniest moments were all in the trailer. I hope it does succeed, though. I'm tired of male buddy comedies. Ladies can be funny too.

We’d be very surprised if this marriage ever went through. These two people are way too in love with themselves and more importantly, with attention. They actually look like they’re each struggling for prominence in the shots.
