This guy is a tool. What he is doing is a form of domestic abuse. I'm enraged by his actions and the fact that the New York fucking Times gave him a platform for this shit.

Let's just imagine for a second that the situation were different. That Sofia said, "ok, find a surrogate and have the babies without me. Have a nice life with them. " Do you think he'd really let her off the hook that easily? Nope, then he would be bitching about her abandoning her children and calling her a horrible mother. He does not care one whit about these embryos/potential children. He cares about controlling and humiliating a woman who had the gall to dump him. He's scum.

And I'm not big on the the knight in shining armor fantasy, but I sort of wish Joe Mangianello would go all Alcide on his ass. This guy needs a serious smack down.

I am stunned that they printed this garbage. Not necessarily because the idea/argument isn't worthy of the Times(as flimsy as I believe it is), but because this is a blatant harassment campaign.

This reminds me of how Jason Patric make the bitter custody dispute with his ex public. Media outlets like TMZ do enough muckraking. People like Nick Loeb don't have to feed into it!

He says this:

...but then says this:

Was that last part really necessary?

And perfectly timed to coincide with the premiere of her film. I think she's a famewhore, but I feel badly for her and her family. The NYT should be absolutely ashamed that they gave him a platform- especially now. And MF's females have had a really bad year with abusive ex-boyfriends.

He's clearly a bully and I think the NY Times should be ashamed of themselves. I'm surprised this is really an issue. I have frozen embryos and, at the point that they were created, I had to complete and sign a document that stated what I wanted to happen to them in various different scenarios. If these two didn't cover "what will happen to the embryos if we split up" in their documents, then I find that pretty ridiculous.
