Her brother has apparently offered to let her and the kids stay with him. Sure, he seems to be a heathen who cusses and scoffs at all the Bible thumping (and I automatically love him without even knowing him just like Cousin Amy) But he's miles above what her creepy husband is up to. The more that stuff comes out, the more apparent it becomes that he has major issues with women and likes to hurt them. I fear for any woman he would have hooked up with on AshleyMadison.

Now wife and kids just need to get far far away.

People magazine has gone and done it now. They published a source calling the almighty Jim Bob a dictator. The cozy relationship between the Duggars and People magazine might be over. It was reported earlier this week that People cancelled an interview with Jim Bob and Michelle because they refused to talk about Josh (you know, the only reason anyone wants to interview them in the first place). That's probably when things went sour between them.

Seriously though, I really hope she and the kids are doing okay and can escape somehow. A reality special perhaps - Not Without My Duggar? A film crew gets in and helps her and the children flee whatever compound they have them trapped in? That is one Duggar special I would watch.

The People quote about sexuality and sex being topics strictly forbidden in the Duggar home isn't quite true. Anyone who's seen the show knows that Jim Bob is constantly being a big ol' perv with Michelle. He is always reminding his unmarried kids that they can't do that stuff. And there's the whole "Nike!" thing and that fact that girls must dress modestly so they don't stir up male desires. So sex is definitely not discussed in any kind of educational or healthy way, but it's always there.

I'm happy to see People turning on the Duggars. It was so nauseating to see them lauded as the world's most perfect family almost every week.

I'll ride shotgun in the van! And I'll even carry a shotgun if that's what it takes to get Anna out of there, even though I hate guns. She needs to get out in the worst way, and get into therapy. Get the kids out too, before they're completely warped!

Josh Duggar is entering rehab for addiction, In Touch magazine has learned exclusively from a source. The source says his primary issue is sex addiction.

In Touch has learned exclusively it is a faith-based rehab.

And this is why Anna will stay. Josh won't get actual therapy that will actually help him, but she won't know this until he gets caught again. He will have less money to spend and less excuses to travel from home, but he'll still find a way to act like the selfish prick that he is. And then the cycle will repeat itself again...and again..and again.

But what kind of rehab facility? A Gothard "rehab" or a real one? The statement also says Anna is getting counseling. Which probably means she's being scolded for not being "available" for that jerk at all times.

Duggar Family Statement

We are so thankful for the outpouring of love, care and prayers for our family during this most difficult situation with Josh. As parents we are so deeply grieved by our son’s decisions and actions. His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others. He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear. Yesterday Josh checked himself into a long-term treatment center. For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery. We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change. In the meantime, we will be offering our love, care and devoted support to Anna and our grandchildren as she also receives counsel and help for her own heart and future. During this time we continue to look to God—He is our rock and comfort. We ask for your continued prayers for our entire family.

That's probably the harshest thing Jim Bob has said publicly about Josh (I'm sure he's said a lot worse in private). It finally might have dawned on him that blindly defending Josh and outright excusing his behavior isn't a good game plan for the rest of the family. It's a little late, though. The damage is done.

In the meantime, we will be offering our love, care and devoted support to Anna and our grandchildren as she also receives counsel and help for her own heart and future.

In other words, she's firmly attached to the Duggar side of the family and they are going about making sure she doesn't go astray.
