Who are the other girls besides Jessa and Jill? What the heck are the safeguards they put up in their house? That is admitting they had a sexual predator in their son wondering around their home. What about John David? Did he stand up to Josh. Oh the questions just keep coming. I LOVE the new thread name!

You know what is really frustrating, is that if another family was accused of these same crimes that weren't like the Duggars and didn't share their views, they would NEVER give them the benefit of the doubt. They would judge them.

It is bizarre that JimBob and Michelle seem to think that if a teenage boy hugs and kisses his girlfriend, it is immoral and terrible; but if he fondles his young sister while she sleeps, he is just a hormonal boy who made a mistake. WTF.

I have been thinking about Jana alot, I wonder if that is why she has stayed single, maybe she was a victim as well and she wasn't the one "sleeping".

I always thought it was interesting that he got married and none of the other kids did for several years. I wonder if they married him off thinking if he had a wife all these urges would go away? It's ridiculous I know, but their line of reasoning is so messed up. It's hard to know exactly what they were thinking but part of the reason it seems like Josh got married a long time ago is that there is an age gap between him and the twins and then the next few kids. JimBob and Michelle used birth control for a while. I personally think it's weird that he got married so young, but I suppose it was normal/ideal for their set. And, of course, that would mean he's out of the house.

I think the Duggars dumped Josh on Anna. They married him off to the first female who walked by so he'd be her problem now.
I wonder if Anna realizes that whenever she and Josh have sex (ew) he's fantasizing that she's a five-year-old.

The way they overdramatize things, you would think there are years between josh and his siblings but there are only two years between him and the twins. And then the almost yearly birthing starts. He got married at 20 while the still unmarried twins have to be pushing 25 by now.

A friend of mine posted on Facebook "If you think Caitlyn Jenner is disgusting but are defending Josh Duggar you need your priorities adjusted." Seriously. I can't believe anyone thinks what he did was defensible. I didn't watch the interview because any additional press for these loons means it will take longer from the just go away.

Jana and Boy Twin are definitely 25, so that means Jill and Jessa got married at 23 and 21? or so. It seems young but not abnormal; there are a lot of fundie families with unmarried stay at home daughters who are well into their 30s, so I suspect that the Duggars have several agendas: getting their problem son out of the house, striking while the iron is hot and tv audiences gave a crap and Jessa and Jill were still marketable. I wonder who's behind the Jana + Tim Tebow rumor.

Sarah Palin's 'helpful' 2 cents on the matter OY! Of course she's gotta spin on this. And for the record, when Lena Dunham's book came out I seem to remember a LOT of people crying foul over what she did to her sister. There were even articles about the silent trauma of sibling abuse posted directly after. The big difference being that she WAS a child under the age of 10 who did not know better until she was an adult and was able to write 'Wait- was that messed up?'. People DID go after her for making light of it as an adult and using it as a 'funny' anecdote. So no, the media and public at large did not give her a pass regardless of Palin's spin. But she was a child acting from a child's curiousity and not realizing she was violating someone else's person until much later. In the meantime, precious right-wing darling Josh was a teenager well old enough to know exactly what he was doing when he COMMITTED A CRIME against his family members and other young girls. His parents and his community actively brushed his crime under the rug and allowed the victims to remain in an unsafe environment all for the sake of their 'wholesome' image. That the public is now reacting with outrage isn't some left-wing conspiracy. It's a cry for justice. I'm pretty sure if the Founding Fathers were writing the Constitution today, they'd still put 'Freedom of Speech' at the top of the list. But they'd pencil in a 'Shut Up Sarah Palin!' exception after the ink dried.
