The Duggars have a P.R. expert helping them tell that story: Chad Gallagher, the head of the Arkansas firm Legacy Consulting.

Gallagher is also a longtime adviser to Huckabee, and is the executive director of Huck PAC.

Gallagher declined to comment on his work for the Duggars when contacted by CNNMoney.

If the Duggars have lost the support of Huckabee, they may have also lost their PR so-called expert.

I always thought it was interesting that he got married and none of the other kids did for several years. I wonder if they married him off thinking if he had a wife all these urges would go away? It's ridiculous I know, but their line of reasoning is so messed up.

My other thought is they got him out of the house when the second batch of girls starting coming (there were only baby boys in the house for a while).

I hope the girls don't go on TV and blame the media for feeling like victims. They are victims, getting to tell their story doesn't make them so. In fact it's a chance a lot of others don't get.

I seem to recall reading several years back about the "sin in the camp" and most people thinking that he was caught making out with a teenage girl that JB & Michelle married him off because of his urges. Wouldn't surprise me if they did. I hope his daughter and the one on the way will be safe.

I don't think it's ridiculous at all, considering the family. What better way to try to manage his urges than to foist him off on some naive girl who HAS to give in to him? Sounds Duggarish to me.

eta: I'm torn--I certainly don't want the girls to be further traumatized but shit, they also need to know what happened to them was NOT okay... On some level it could help them heal, even if they believe they're unaffected.

Who are the other girls besides Jessa and Jill? What the heck are the safeguards they put up in their house? That is admitting they had a sexual predator in their son wondering around their home. What about John David? Did he stand up to Josh. Oh the questions just keep coming.
