The podcast We Hate Movies does an impersonation of Amy Adams in which she is the politest/friendliest woman in Hollywood "Oh...thank you very much...but no...that just sounds fucking terrible!" I somehow picture Brie Larson the same way.

Amy Adams is completely spineless and won't state any sort of remotely controversial opinion. She infamously got kicked off of the Today Show for refusing to even entertain questions about the Sony hack - and Harvey Weinstein successfully portrayed Amy as the victim in that scenario.

But she has subsequently refused to make any remarks about the wage gap because, and I quote, "I don't want to be a headline". And she was in an Oscar roundtable when questions about roles for women and minorities came up, and she shut it down and said producers are the ones who should be asked about it. I like Amy as an actress, but I don't respect that.

Brie, on the other hand, has at least used her social media to stand up for things she believes in - in an extremely nice and positive way.

Amy Adams is so desperate for an Oscar that she'll probably say or do anything to make it happen, including going out of her way to avoid pissing off studio heads.

I don't know that much about these two, but I've seen stuff in passing on the internet about him being really bad news. I think there were blind items about him being an addict and being a bad influence on her, and about her being devoted to him even though he doesn't deserve it.

I was relieved when I saw the headline because she does seem like a nice person and can undoubtedly do better.

Well... she is the star of the newest Marvel film. I'm sure it'll rev back up when that comes out. I just personally find her kinda blah; and she does stay out of the spotlight.
